This is a 50/50. Thomas did leave just enough room for Fred at the hairpin but that was a pretty big lunge going into the last chicane.. Freddy also should’ve probably backed out at that point, and then he had a big moment from launching over the sausage curb. ronhaar should be the one to concede the position but instead he fucking sends it into the final chicane which is never going to end well,FR got the outside but get shoved into the huge sausage kerbs on the inside of the final corner which leads to him being launched,losing the car and crashed. It’s not the case of hating on Thomas but the aggression he uses on track. I mean Freddy’s tyres were older but not old enough for Thomas to be driving so aggressive against him, I mean Thomas isn’t racing AI, he is racing esports drivers who are equally as fast and talented, Freddy knowing he has the advantage at a corner means he won’t back out of the corner because Thomas wants to claim an apex he has no right in that situation claiming.
To be fair...if I lunge and squeeze the car ahead, I’m fully expecting them to do the same if we go side by side into a chicane lmao the driving standard even at pro level suggests it’s the same case
