Very good to hear about O.P.Ralhan. The last film he made was Pyaas released in 1981 with Zeenat Aman and Kanwaljeet. He was also to make ambitious movie Ashoka The Great but he didn't make then.

I am so happy that she has chosen this new medium to express her talent to the current generation. I do hope it is not viewers from my generation that watch this presentation. Of the many films he produced, directed and acted in Phool aur Patthar was by far the best and successful. He made tons of money from it. He should be credited for creating He Man image for Dharam paaji. Imagine a leading hero not getting to sing a single song in a hindi film and yet was part of five of the six songs. It was publicised Dilip Kumar would hold the audience spell bound in Ganga Jamuna and Dharam paaji had the same impact in phool aur patthar. Those who haven’t seen the movie please watch it for its story, dialogues, photography and performance of all the characters. Unfortunately by the time the movie was completed Ralhan’s relations with his leading hero was nowhere cordial. Their coming together again in 80’s got nipped in the bud. O.P.Ralhan will be remembered for his grand projects and cost was secondary for him.
