I like the way this seems like 4 friends sharing personal moments in their lives. I never knew Loni had a miscarriage or that Garcelle had experienced infertility issues. It's so touching to see this side of them. All of the ladies look great. And I like that Loni is in a good relationship. And Jeannie's little baby bump is so cute.

Loni has opened up about her miscarriage in previous season its why she chose not to get pregnant again because it was very painful. Loni is open to adoption though. Garcelle yes last week she mentioned her struggles with infertility before she got pregnant with her twins.
Thank you all for letting me know that Loni spoke about her miscarriage before. I clearly missed that part. But I do like hearing them share their experiences.

Every show, I just realize more and more why Garcelle was such a perfect fit for this show. The current dynamic is just so positive, vulnerable and honest. All 4 ladies do such a great job and have great chemistry. I do miss Tamera, but these 4 are killing it! This is why I love the real!! ❤️

I just loveeee how this show is going. So much more personal, and it feels amazing. The topics are incredible and I’m really enjoying watching Loni blossom into her real warmth. In previous seasons there feels to be many walls, but this time we can really feel her melting down and showing her heart. LOVE the ladies.
not having an audience also plays a role in the intimacy of the show and the topics. Cause when you have 50+ people looking at you, you might be discouraged to share certain things about your life. But when it's your 3 friends and a few crew members that you already see every day, it's a more comfortable environmment.

This is why i relate to Loni so much since the first season. Loni might seem as tough, hard on the outside but she’s just like me, emotional and we cry and bawl at everything. I am a Leo and i know she’s Cancer hence the emotions and everything but i cry at everything. I can look at stray cats’ photos and just bawl all day. I could bump into a stray dog and couldn’t function the rest of the day thinking how the dog would survive for another day. I love Loni so so much. Loni, just know that i am grateful that you exist and bring shine to the world, especially on The Real. Thank you. And also, how on earth she looks gorgeous every single day?

I always forget that Jeanie is in her 40s. she looks 20..such a beautiful woman from the inside and out, my best friend in my head. Loni is always crying..lol. I have grown to like Garcelle. Adrienne is so cool and I know great things are coming her way..God is still molding her.

@Jude@beth that is a lie. She did believe her and kicked the boy out of the house. It just took time for her , life does not play out in one scene. At first she didn't know how to be there for Jeannie. She even said when Jeannie was vocal ,it was more about that she didn't like that boy being there. That's where there was a miscommunication because Mama Mai understood it as Jeannie being difficult or spoilt for not wanting to share her home with him. Jeannie never out right said he his doing this to me but rather expressed it in child like ways at first. As a result ,when she eventually did, it sounded like she was just saying anything because she never wanted him there. You obviously have an issue with Mama Mai, even though you have no clue how things played out and you lack the ability to reason. Jeannie has forgiven her mom and even shares the stories where she is being a good mom but you wanna hold on to a mistake she made and rectified.
Mama Mai is not a narcissist because she reasons differently on the role of a child and a mother. With the engagement saga, many parents would have acted the same because they were raised in a different time and/or culture. The new generation reasons differently and folks like you expect people who have been programme differently just get on board . Mama Mai has shown she wants to be in her daughter's life. She listens to her and learns the lessons when it's possible but she can not erase her entire being. If you are out here labeling people toxic and narcissist for being human you are the problem. When has a toxic or narcisist listened, admited fault, learned, or even cared to try?This a woman with trauma trying to cater to the needs of the neglected and abused child in her. Her dad used to beat her for senseless things so obviously she will not be as perfect as you or respond to things in the way that you deem correct.
To parent at 16, coming from abuse, another country, exposed to a war, working your ass off day and night, being a refugee, then being shunned by your family for being with Jeannie's dad . She is an amazing woman who made it through. If you have nothing nice to say then shut up! because this video is about the nice things . You just want to bring her mom down for your own personal problems. Jeannie did not put out those things about her mom for her to be judged until the end of her days. It was supposed to be for reflection, learning and teaching. Stop weaponizing it to soothe your ego. You have and will have your own fair share of nasty stories. Better hope others are less judgemental with you. God bless you.

I’m so glad to see Jeannie speaking well of her mom ❤️ For a while there she only spoke of the bad qualities of her mom and it made me really sad whenever she did. I’m not saying her mom is perfect or that any mom is perfect, it’s good to acknowledge their families and to remember their flawed humans too, but to have that balance and speak well of your mom is a great thing too

I’m not gonna lie, it took me a good minute to come back around to watch since tam left(I promise I love Garcelle as an addition, I just wished it was all 5 of them 🙃) but this panel is really stating to reel me in again. I love the transparency and with current issues that they’re going through. A lot of times people are more open once they’ve come out on the other side, but these ladies are showing me that it’s okay to struggle with certain things and it’s nothing to feel ashamed of. I love the new season so far!

I’m all about making the memories with my family. Sometimes when I’m in certain moments where I’m laughing with my daughter or family time with everyone or vacation with the hubby I blink my eyes really fast like I’m taking mental pictures. I know weird but being with your loved ones eating good food and laughing is THE BEST!!!

I love the show like this. Every once in awhile a guest. The show is like a form of counseling and group therapy.

Loni thank you for addressing people who can have time like people with small businesses. I just had a recent break up of 4 years because my ex couldn’t understand that I don’t have a lot of time that he wants out of me. I own a small pizzeria and I put my time in there 6 days out of the week from 13- 14 hours each day. We always discussed this communicated about it, and he barely tried to put effort to see me. Yes I’m venting** BUT GOOD THOUGHT LONI THANK YOU

As an immigrant myself, we work NOT to prove "ourselves to others" and to "prove our worth to be here" (as you say). *We make use of the opportunities in this great country and turn them into GOLDEN outcomes.* We all came here with 20$ and an acquired bus pass only to make it well...with our families. We pass on the mindset of hard work and strong family units to our children. After fleeing from communism, may they never forget how lucky they are to be here no matter what anyone else claims.
There are immigrants as myself that work hard to prove that they deserve this job. Are the beginning we feel that we have to prove.
As a teacher, I feel like I never really have time for my family and myself. I'm exhausted when I get home, and because my "planning period " often is cut short, I have to plan during the weekends, on top of whatever else I need to catch up with.

I personally could not be a workaholic cuz the best saying I’ve ever heard is “ do not let your personal business and work business get intertwined “ cuz what happens is you find yourself so caught up in work you rarely get time at home to truly FEEL at home ! I remember one time one of my friends parents had came to an event to support them like a dance recital or talent show and when they came out their parents weren’t there at the last minute because of a business call & I hate that so much where it’s like… money talks and time is money and u don’t want to disappoint your bosses or ur business but u end up at home with the greatest job you’ll love which is being a parent but u hate the fact that you missed out on so many great moments for ur child to see them shine & when I do become a parent I don’t want to have my child or anyone in my life resent me because they feel like I CHOSE to miss out… I want to make time for what’s important !
Working daily takes a toll. I have lost so many loved ones to death and makes u realize that time is extremely valuable. Work no longer comes in between my loved ones and I.
Honestly when I heard that Garcelle was joining the cast, I thought she's an older odd fit. How's that going to work out? Now here I sit and watch with AWE on how great the show has become BECAUSE of Garcelle. I actually watch the show more now then I ever have in the past. She brings so much grace, poise, and maturity to the show. They all mesh so well together. I actually forgot about the ex hosts that use to work on the set. To me she's what they needed.
