Beakman's World!!! I knew there was sumthin familiar about it ...
I wasn't a fan of that, but my siblings watched that pretty regularly, and if i remember correctly, it would play before Garfield and then the Turtles on Saturday mornings! Haha

After you mentioned it was on before Garfield and Turtles I figured I would have come across it too so I googled it and sure enough I do remember it! I never really watched it but I know the imagery from it, that guy and mouse you don't forget, lol.

Awesome, @@Ogles ! Yeah, I imagine it was a pretty unique and zany sciencey and educational type show, but those designs along with the in-your-face late 80s camera work was just too jarring for my five -year old sensibilities ... Hehe
I think that's when I would check what's on ABC on a different TV set or just run around outside til Turtles came on ... Hahaha
