Alfred Hitchcock said "The more successful the villain, the more successful the picture". That is why Rowan Atkinson wanted Mr. Bean's Holiday to have a villain, as he thought that the movie would be a more riveting and be a bigger hit at the box office.
Rowan did do that Funeral sketch in March 2015 as Mr. Bean, so I don't think he's ready to hang up the tie just yet.. I hope they do another Bean movie set in Asia (China or Japan maybe) would be interesting and funny to put him in a new setting like that
Mr Trend TV even much newer than the rest of Mr bean. These Mr Bean episodes are already 20 - 25 years old. The other movie is also 20 years old. So, this one is the newest project of “Mr. Bean”!
