Poll reveals what Canadians think about health care

- A timely new poll by Environics Research for the Canadian Health Coalition finds deep public concern about public health care. Canadians want their premiers to work with the federal government to end what 74 per cent believe is a crisis in their provincial health systems.
Derek Leebosh of Environics Research and Steven Staples of the Canadian Health Coalition discussed the poll results with Anne Lagacé Dowson, Media Director of the Canadian Heath Coalition on September 17, 2024.
Derek Leebosh is the VP of Public Affairs for Environics Research. Derek’s particular areas of expertise include health promotion and social marketing, social policy, consumer issues and testing of creative materials and communications strategies.
Steven Staples is the National Director of Policy and Advocacy for the Canadian Health Coalition. He is a Canadian policy analyst and president of Public Response, a digital agency that services non-profit organizations and trade unions in the fields of online engagement and government relations.
