Is Ava Zilke and I are the only people who have heard of this song by original songstress Marian Anderson? I attended an all Black school six years before integration and was introduced to Marian's music in 5th grade by my teacher Reverand James Golden Jr. My grandchildren hardly knows anything about Black American. When we integrated, we lost much of our heritage and history. This lady is full aware on the beautiful musical history of African Americans and other ethnic races. Beautiful voice.
