Might be good to note in the video that XP3 is not configured by default for CC#18. That needs to be programmed. If you use Jack XP2, which defaults to CC#16, this controls EXT 1 in the Axe-Fx. If you want to use XP3, press EDIT, MIDI, page left 2x to [XP1, #011 Ch01 BegOFF.] Press UP two times to XP3, then navigate over to #OFF and change to #018. Press EXIT/SAVE. PS: What are we listening to in the background? Do a playthrough video of that!

How do you connect an expression pedal without the floor board? Is it from the expression pedal 'out' to the 'in' (in the back of the Axe Fx)?
