You did an outstanding job of explaining this game very quickly and concisely. Thank you so much - and beautiful job creating the board! Impressive. I will use this to share with my fathers caregivers to improve his frontal lobe brain.

What a fantastic game! And very well built, too. It strikes em that this game would be scalable, for example having a 3x3 grid and pieces with three attributes, or a 5x5 grid, and pieces having five different attributes, and so on.
You could also have more than two players, playing in a circle clockwise and each person chooses pieces for the player to his or her left.

Four attributes work because its 2^4 pieces which happens to also be a square number (4^2). 3 attributes would be 2^3 = 8 pieces which doesn't fill a 3^2 square. 5 attributes would be 2^5 = 32 pieces which overflows a 5^2 square (and doesnt fill a 6^2 square). You could do 6 attributes on a 8x8 square though.

Got this game as a Christmas gift unexpectedly. Just learning the game, seems fun.

Oooh that makes sense. At the moment, you have 4 attributes which can be one of 2 states (hollow/solid, tall/short etc) so 2^4 gives you 16 pieces. 5 attributes will give you 2^5, or 32 pieces, not the 25 pieces you'd expect, given you'd have a 5x5 grid. I wonder if that'd make the game easier or harder, having more pieces than you have spaces for?
I'm no mathemagician , so I'll leave that as an exercise for the reader!

I actually thought about adding another attribute to the pieces (say, stripe/no stripe) and realized that would double the amount of pieces! I think. There's math here somehow.

Plus-if your opponent makes winning row but doesn't spot it, you can claim it on your next turn if you do it straight away. Otherwise it loses its value for the rest of the game.

Amazing game I would have not know about without your help. Thanks. Is the game copyrighted or is it like chess and made a while back that anyone can use it to make a video game for example. and if it is who actually owns the copyright ? i cannot find it ....
