Thanks for the tip about opening up the shoulders. For some reason I always had a problem with backside spins. I'm not very good, but, I would think nothing of 540s and scarecrows while a bs180 would require all my courage. Now I'm restarting wakeboarding after 2 years (ACL). Going from the basics up and this helps a lot. Thanks again!

Cheers! I cant wait to take some of these tips to the water. It was the first spin I landed, but also has been the most inconsistent over many years. I often feel like I'm being pulled forward into a faceplant and so have stopped doing them but the "weight back not forward" tip sound like it will fix this.
