Heath I really like your wire idea, I'm using different colors of extensions cords for my mains. That's how I keep my different sections for trouble shooting if needed. Your plugs really got my attention, Chris

Nice work Heath. Wire management is really something I need to focus on when building my next layout. I remember using these Anderson Connectors on my RC airplane batteries and speed controllers. Cant wait to see your circus trains running on the layout. All the best, John

some thing you might want to think about make 2 loops but its one continues rail what it looks like is folded in specs like a figure 8 but the rails are on top of each other so there is one cross over rail above the other so you can then elivate it a bit at the rear - hard to explain but the cross over in at the front - ok see if i can explain it cross over at the front as te loco goes over the xover it goes up a small incline till it reaches the rear then the track come down the incline agian and goes over the xover then it travels around the rear of the lay out on the base then as it comes around it goes over the xover again and back up the incline as 1 continues rail
I am basically following the t-trak standard with my track layout. In their standard, the double track is the basics. If there was a Free-MoN club in my area, I would have probably built to that standard. One day I will hopefully have more space.

Steve. They are 16 gauge. I am running 12awg from the control box to the block detection device, then 16awg from block detection to module. The screw downs on the DR4088 are only big enough for 16awg wire.-Heath
Jerry, the wires are 16awg. I used 12awg from the control box to the block detection device, 16awg from the block detection device to the modules. 16awg is the largest wire size that fits in the screw terminals on the DR4088LN-CS. -Heath
