It's like watching a basketball player on the rugby field lol what a talent truly a one in a generation player the walking headliner Sonny bill Williams
Sbw playing well. Links up with the 14 well, looks like the team has adapted to his offloading game and are starting to incorporate it into their attack efficiently.
Bud hes a good wing man. and that sway n step was sick.. i'd like to know how long most of these guys have actually played rugby. the development isnt like in SA, NZ or Aus.
saying "He isn't that good" would still entail he is good. I'm not taking anything away from the sway and step, because yeah it was a quality move, but what I'm saying is that not everything is in the finish. It's more than scoring the try that needs to be recognized in a play. Also the lack of development in a country, despite being true, isn't grounds to substantially boost a persons ability. There are numerous countries with poor devlpnt prgms, but are still producing world class players
Love how he made the bench for the All Blacks, based on star appeal, rather than merit, never dominated in rugby, yet owns rugby league and you can't see the irony in your comment. If he ever becomes a rugby great I'll listen to that comment seriously, otherwise he can be a big fish in a small pond and say what he wants.
He isn't that good, yes he had a single good step, but his trys were strictly by doing what ANY player can do: Supporting the guy with the ball. If anything it's the beautiful offloads by the other backs that set him up that should be praised. Sonny Bill gift wrapped him that try, as with the play off the kick off. But Hey! If you think being able to catch a ball (which nearly everyone does by the time they're 5 years old) makes a player deadly, then so be it!
