My collection was 30. Then I got it down to 17. Now it’s 8. I feel happier my closet is clear.

I absolutely love your videos because they are always conscious and realistic. I think for next year I'm taking a break from luxury shopping because I'm working on other more important areas in my life like buying a home.

The ceiling for me is under 10. I like to stay in the one digit, two digits gives me anxiety. Plus I can put that money into my account or take a vacation with it.

Thank you, this was such a wonderful, reflective and thoughtful video. The value and interest in TH-cam videos for me is the opportunity to reflect on other's choices and worlds, so watching hauls, for example, is only interesting because of the reason for them and the unique meaning to the person, not the actual items or that they are hauls. Also, consuming meaninglessly is discordant with world issues related to consumerism (this does not relate to collectors because they do not turn their collections into waste). What is most interesting to me is witnessing reflection, style evolution because that is about refining and sharing the 'sense of self', reasoning, reflecting and people engaged in really living their truths because people are interesting, not 'stuff'. Life had me reflecting similarly to you in this video many years ago due to serious, life threatening health issues. Time was a dominant factor, so selling wasn't an option, so I did a 'Swedish Death Clean' and destroyed all the unnecessary, irrelevant or sensitive items I owned and donated 90% of my items, including rare designer handbags, clothing and shoes because I didn't want anyone to have to navigate and assess (or worse, keep) all of my extensive belongings in context of their grief. I donated everything that wasn't 'me' or I didn't love anymore. I recovered, but still face health risks. Then Covid hit and I had the time to further refine and curate my belongings. So now, I only own what I love and items that reflect my personality because life isn't a dress rehearsal and it is very short, I use and love everything I own, have everything I need and worse case scenario, if anybody has to sort through my stuff, I am reflected in all of my stuff and it will be like I'm there with them and will be less stressful. I am aware of my privilege and recognise how fortunate I am to never actually need to purchase anything except groceries until items such as clothing or shoes wear out (my handbags are unlikely to). Good luck on your journey and thank you for sharing😊. I am certain that you feel like you are heading in the right direction on your journey.

I let myself slipped in the last 2 yrs. I was the type to buy one luxury bag a year, same for shoes. And the past 2 yrs I went crazy and now I regret. I have too many bags, it’s stupid. It’s not because I have the income that I should act like that. I will downsize my collection, good that I never really got into rtw🤪, but bags oh my. I am older, I am well established, but having all these things it’s not me. I love a closet that is not totally full and experiences over material things any days!

Its overwhelming that I have a lot of bags which I have collected over the years. Its a mix of luxury and no name brands. Im still in the process of decluttering cause I feel so guilty with the money I wasted. Its hard to let go but I do one at a time. Cause I dont wanna get old having all of them. Some I already given away, gifted those I didnt use and sold a few as well.
