    An awesome example of "brand bullying" I will never forget...
    About 10 years ago, I was driving northbound on the GSP (in NJ), and looked up to see a giant billboard with a picture of a new Audi, with text under it that read "Your Move, BMW..."
    Then, about 1/2 mile up the road, I saw a billboard that had a picture of a new BMW 5 series, with text underneath that read "Checkmate..."
    I thought that was pretty badass..

    I have a birth defect called amniotic banding syndrome that could have easily been prevented if the hospital had so much as examined my mother the multiple times she went to the ER for sever abdominal pain that ended up being appendicitis. Instead it wasn’t realized until it had ruptured and again because she was uninsured she had an incompetent surgeon who, as a result of his performance, led to my birth defect.

You know what you're signing up for when you buy EA titles or other games with microtransactions. You're not being scammed, and you're not being forced. So I don't see why EA would be in this list. When it's all laid out in the Terms and Conditions, you don't get to call it a scam just because you don't read and/or can't control yourself.

I messed up my leg in Football practice, and I was taken to the hospital by my mom. when we got there, i was in alot of pain but the hospital in my hometown refused to treat me because of a unfinished payment from a previous injury and insurance issues. Because of that, I had to wait the whole night to go to a different medical center in alot of pain. The place will watch you wither in pain or die unless they can get paid.

      @@ericaugusto758 Seriously? Obviously never lived/ been to the US and gotten hurt. You want to know how much saline bags in an ER cost? $150 for a $2 bag. That isn't counting the time charged for the nurse to put an IV in to administer the bag. Most people coming in from an emergency usually need more than one. And this even counting the bigger picture of seeing the doctor, possible surgery. So no when the system is rigged against you it isn't an asshole move to not pay your bills. Stop blaming the vulnerable people and start looking at the corporations making a profit off of people's suffering.

Look at Govia Thameslink Railway and it's seperate route brands, Thameslink, Great Northern, Southern, and Gatwick Express. People might believe that they are a medium sized and UK based companies, whereas in fact they are just brand names of a large UK based company, which is owned by a large UK based company called Govia, which is in turn owned by two massive Transnational Corporations, those being Keolis and the Go Ahead Group.

I need to take medicine for depression, ADHD, and anxiety, and for sleep and if it wasn't for the Medicaid I automatically got when I went into foster care I would have to pay over $300 EVERY MONTH when I'd need to refill my prescriptions. About doctors refusing to operate: doctors that refuse to operate on patients without an insurence are made to pay all the fees from their own pocket. The minimum cost of a surgery is really high (thousands at least), as you need to gather a big team of people, use expensive material you'll have to throw away, let the patient stay a few days for post operation. Even considering the rather high salary of doctors, they can't really afford to do that. Additionally, if they operate regardless of that, they get yelled at by their bosses. So telling them they are wrong is a bit like telling somebody that doesn't want to pay for a charity what an ***hole they are. In my opinion, the fault lies mainly in the system for creating such moral dilemmas. So yes, some doctors are cold, morally wrong people, but isn't the system that creates such a dilemma equally at fault?

    First off, only 30% of medschools even offer the Hippocratic Oath so the misconception that all doctors are bound by oath is misleading. There are other oaths that medstudents take when they receive their MD. The Hippocratic oath is dated and does not accurately portray contemporary attitudes towards medicine care. The issue that doctors aren’t treating those without insurance has a different reason.

      Just always be cautious any time you go out under someone's/company's service. Because even your own government, doctor, or college will rip you off with some unreasonable price that you think is fair but is actually not, and they will secretly suck dry of your money or your insurance without you knowing or thinking about it. They do this because they have special knowledge of something and you are ignorant. So the day you get cancer (hope that you don't) and they offer chemo (which doesn't fix shit and makes you more sick) call them out on their bull shit, because they have the knowledge to cure cancer but they wouldn't profit off from that.

    I honestly don't understand why Red Bull even had to settle for them giving money for "no wings" when even in their hands they had small text saying it didn't and in cases also having someone's voice sped up saying "Red Bull doesn't actually give you wings" for the very reason so no one could sue. Yet how did someone do so and get money?

    So basically if you're poor or middle class then you're lazy and we hate you but if you're rich have fun being above the law, changing the law and ruining lives. While you're at it here's your $3 million bonus.

    • @saifuzparvin268
      @saifuzparvin268 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Willie Hardiman Did u get that from this video? BTW u can only lobby in the US, none of that nonsense here in the uk and I dunno what u mean about the rich ruining u over. U do realise that jobs are created by the rich? Someone poor cant offer u anything. So...
      You can always open your own enterprise and become rich u know... Who is stopping you? Then you would appriciate the worth of the big businesses, it is not easy out there. Only the best survive by providing you with the best products and services, that's the beauty of markets. You can be poor today but rich in 5 years mate. You gotta find your own way.

    • @williehardiman6766
      @williehardiman6766 6 ปีที่แล้ว

    • @saifuzparvin268
      @saifuzparvin268 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Willie Hardiman so don't generaliza all the rich dudes as being asholes or something, u have equal opportunities in the US, take advantage of it and don't play this nonsense prejudice.

    • @williehardiman6766
      @williehardiman6766 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Saifuz Parvin that last part is arguable on both sides but in my opinion while rich people aren't evil (i'm upper middle class myself) there comes with an inherent smugness with wealth like the whole "pull yourself up by your boot straps" idea that people use as an excuse not to help people especially the rich. But i'm gonna leave it at that.

      The Hippocratic oath has changed, they no longer take the old oath but must take a oath. The oath has been revised for modern times in which they are allowed to perform abortion and euthanasia, they still take a oath to save lives. So working with the person, until the papers after or their 'will' pops out nothing is to change.

      UndeadTexas no they don't

    • @stapuft
      @stapuft 6 ปีที่แล้ว +16

      UndeadTexas abortions are not against the Hippocratic oath,
      "do no harm"
      An unwanted pregnancy can and does sometimes lead to abuse and other very bad things, (which can be described as harm) also sometines the mother is in danger, untill the baby is born it is by all deffinitions a parasite, and parasites get dealt with as such if it needs to be done.
      Listen to the doctor people, they still take a Hippocratic oath, it might not be the original l, written by Hippocrates, but it is still A oath Hippocratic in nature.
      Also assisted suicide wouldn't be against the Hippocratic oath either, if someone is in enough pain to want to end their own life not allowing them to do so can also be construed as harm.

    I agree with the not operating, however, as terrible as it is to say hospitals are a business not a charity. You can't profit by working for free on people without insurance who walk out before paying. It doesn't work. As awful as it is it has to happen to keep the lights on

    Pretty sure diamond's top guys are guilty of number 3. People who hold the most diamonds all said they'd keep prices high and only sell a fixed number per year so that profits are high and remain that way.
    Thing is, now their market is dying cause the new generations are settling for alternatives or simply not buying them as much. As well as the decline of diamond's best friend, weddings, what I'm also certain is also declining.
