Thank you for the review!! I have an apple watch that I wear all day long. I am considering taking a job that won't allow me to wear it. I was thinking of getting the ring to wear on days I work. i know that my movement, activity and steps will transfer over to Apple health but was wondering if you knew specifically if stand activity and stand hours will transfer too.
@@kevinjubbalmd thank you!! I do have a bicep/ankle strap!! I will probably go with that option at first and see how it goes, before I invest in the ring.
The biggest issue with the Oura Ring is that it's not suitable for surgeons. For example, as an OBGYN in China, wearing a ring while examining patients is not only inconvenient for washing hands but also feels unprofessional.
@@LampshadxNah it’s a complete and total deal breaker for me. If it’s going to be inconvenient and unprofessional for Chinese surgeons to wear while operating, then I will discontinue the use of my ring out of respect.
Another video that doesn't actually provide any helpful information. If you are interested in these products, you actually want to know: Do the devices measure accurately? How accurate is the data I get. Or are they just gimmicks that are less accurate than my feeling for my body? But that won't have been the aim of this video.
Look for that you should go watch The Quantified Scientist, he’ll drop straight facts and testing instead. In his testing the Apple Watch is by far the best heartrate tracker and also the best sleep tracker when we boil it down to accuracy. What I’m getting out of these reviews is that the Apple Watch as a device is better than nearly anything else but doesn’t have an app that offers detailed insights by default. From there it’s priorities, accuracy or presentation? I believe you can always learn to interpret accurate data rather than rely on an outside interpretation of less accurate data.
I've been using both of these products for many years. They are not gimmicks or I wouldn't be using them myself. I further break down the data of 3 different sleep trackers in a previous video comparing Oura, Ultrahuman, and RingConn.
What other wearables do you want me to compare? 📱⌚💍
I would like to know which products you're getting paid to review

I tried the BKWAT ring and it helped me improve my sleep and exercise habits. The test data is very accurate and the battery lasts long!
As an IMG from China and using Whoop for over 1 year. Maybe Whoop is the best tracker for test preparing people to monitor their energy
Currently testing whoop for the last few months. Video coming soon
Just commenting for the algorithm 🧡
I also wear analog on one wrist and smartwatch on the other and I get an ENDLESS amout of crap about it from friends and strangers alike LOL

Don’t know about stand activity and hours. I wear my Apple Watch on my upper arm with a bicep strap which might be applicable to your situation too

With ring i feel like i keep checking my phone than intended lol not ideal in the morning 😅
Oura ring feedback can't index details about your recovery
Or Buy a Garmin Epix, get 16 days battery life and better sports functionality.
At 5 to 10x the price. Apples to oranges
great review, thanks for your dedication
How do we get the promo code.
ask a oura user, they can give 5 friends a code for 40 off
The watch is the best
only for fitness oura ring is for welness
Does the ring close your Apple fitness rings?
No
I must be a weirdo lol I always wear 2 watches 😂
Same -1 for my work phone and 1 for my personal phone
Could u not pay for a different sleep tracking app for the Apple Watch that will match oura’s ?
That’s what I do. Athlytic is simply amazing not to boy for sleep but excercise and overall health
But why?
Honestly my Oura ring isn’t even tracking my nap or workouts. So disappointing
really? i just got mine and mine has picked up my naps. what generation is your ring?

Fair point.
THE biggest issue is likely not something that applies to 0.001% of people :)
Can’t wear a watch in surgery either silly

Apple Watch sucks after 18.0.1. Sleep tracking doesn’t work anymore
