I have the same setup including the 8610 minus the video equipment. I dont need it for ice fishing here in GA. however , I did the shuttle so I could use the setup on multiple boats. Works great although I wish I had gone with a 12" 8612. I didnt get the docking systems yet but I will probably end up doing those after seeing your video. Thanks for sharing
I bought that HDMI recorder too however you don't need it. Active Captain has a feature called HELM where you can see your GPSmap units on your phone or tablet and record from there. Works great.
The 8610 is rated IPX7, which means Withstands incidental exposure to water of up to 1 meter for up to 30 minutes. The shuttle is definitely built to handle weather. Thanks for watching

thanks for the video. is the unit waterproof? wouldn't mounting it on the bow risk water damage?

Any tips on how you connected your power cable from the 8610 to the GLS 10? I have the all in one cable but the pins dont match.
