Shine a Light studio version is definitely meh, but their live version is great. I can't listen to Above the Noise but some of those songs are great live, except for Party Girl, that song is unsalvageable

they didn't like that whole album, did not want party girl to be their single from that album, was really unhappy with the producer that they chose and it wasn't a great time for McFly. It's in their autobiography, great book :)
I think their best covers were 'Don't Stop Me Now' (obviously) and I freaking love their version of ' My Heart Will Go On'. I wish they would record it.
