Yes. We had to put the stock air box in but fortunately figured that issue out pretty quickly. So I think it’s good now!

Seems to cavitate a lot. Make sure you siliconed the pump and ride plate in the proper areas! It should have more power than that. Great job on the build!
Thanks. And I didn’t notice any cavitation at all. We were varying throttle position for the break in
@@ToddleyProductions Yes, heat cycles! It just sounded like was reving up but not getting out of the water like it should. Maybe I'm just hearing things. lol. I have the same motor buts it's in a 440 hull. I subscribed, buddy!
Yeah it seemed really good. I didn’t notice any cavitation. My dad and I went on it. We’re about 30lbs under the weight limit. It goes good with us on it. We’re just taking it very easy for right now. And thanks! I have lots of other Jetski videos to. I’ll do plenty more with the superchicken this summer.
@@ToddleyProductions Question about your airbox. What problems were you having when you fired it up without the airbox on? Ran rich? ran rough? When you installed it. What differences did you notice Thanks!
At idle it was running fine. It would start up fine. Without the air box it was running lean we think. And would only run good with choke halfway engaged. Once we patched up the air box with duct tape and put it on and tested it again. It was running good with no choke. I will film more next weekend and can show the air box.
