Hi Friends,
In this video I will be showing you how to make a day/night working model in a very easy way. This project has an illuminated sun and an illuminated moon model which make the project really cool. Try it for yourself. This project will be apt for science exhibitions, science fairs and b.ed geography project models.

Strong cardboard or thermocol,
5-6 led lights (white for moon and yellow for sun),
1 dc motor,
2 9v battery,
Black chart paper (1),
Blue chart paper (1/2),
Green chart paper (1/2),
scissors,
hot glue,
electrical led bulb or torch (for working sun model).

Moon light needs battery and sun needs an electric bulb. You can also use an yellow led bulb for the sun (like the moon)

Both are separate connections. Moon led lamp needs 9v battery. Bulb for sun needs electricity supply. If you are doing this for a science exhibition and if you do not have electrical supply, use a led light for sun too. Refer below videos for clarity.

In the first video I've made a tree with woolen thread. In the second video, I've made a tree canopy using sponge. Prepare wires as shown in the first video. For foliage, use a thick/strong yellow colour sponge. You will not get good results if you use a soft sponge. Tear the sponge into tiny pieces. Add green colour and mix it thoroughly and let it dry for 24 hours. When the sponge is completely dry add some "mud podge" on the sponge and mix it thoroughly. Mud podge will be white when wet and will become clear after drying. After drying the sponge with mud podge completely, you can use it on the wires to make the tree model as shown in the first video. You will need a strong clear glue spray.
Important points: Sponge should be completely dry, else it will not stick to the wires. Sponge particles should be very very tiny for good results. Hope this helps.
