    It's possible to use this settup for roll decayment analysis? If yes then what changes I would need to make? Since there are only Drag, Lift and momentum in the monitours part.
    I though of creating a plane in XY e do the same procediment, is that right? After that to monitor the decayment how could I proceed?

    This video is awesome. could you please make on 3d model and also show all forces acting on sailboat.
    I have some doubts please reply for this
    1) how to change the wind direction.
    2) how to non dimensionalise in between two medians.
    3) how much around force values has to be.

    While solving for 3d boat hull using symmetry plane, did the forces and drag coefficient are same for full model and symmetry model or multiplied by 2?

      It is same for full model when you use symmetry command otherwise it will be halved

    Hi! Thanks for this tutorial, was very helpful for me. I also have a question about speed setting from 19:40. I don't get why we define speed here and why it has this value. Could you please explain me?

      Because our ship is moving with some velocity so we define that

      @@AnsysLearningPoint of course but we already defined inlet velocity for the fluid so the ship is moving in relation to the water, isnt it? Could you explain me where am I wrong? And why you put exacly 3.056? I'm sorry if my questions seems stupid for you but I'm just a begginer. Thanks for responding

      @@pitachaja124pl yes you're right but this is not the case this case is that fluid move in opposite direction to ship like if ship is moving towards left then water move to right if we wouldn't put velocity of ship then it would be the case that ship is dragged by water towards right.

      ​@@pitachaja124pl This could be interpreted as there is a current that is facing towards the ship (inlet condition) and the ship moves towards the current face-on (hull wall condition).

    Can you help me with a simulation in capturing the dynamic lift of the hull using dynamic meshing in ansys fluent? Simulation is almost ready, I am facing a error regarding negative cell volume. Pls, reply if u can help. thanks

      Brother I can't help you this rather I would suggest you that watch videos regarding dynamic meshing it has alot of data to be fitted in dynamic meshing tab which solve these problems. (Negative volume error) and I also suggest you to read the answer to queries of this problem by searching how to solve negative volume error in dynamic meshing
