I experienced most of these. Especially teachers not understanding that weekends are for resting and holidays are for taking a break from school and homework. All of my teachers made surer we had to study and do homework all weekend. While in middle school, one of my teachers gave the class work that spanned across 20 pages for Christmas. I had not a single day of break from school work and in the end my entire family helped me finish it. In the end, the teacher didnt even collect it or grade it. I was mad af. Teacher lost respect and I refused to do anymore work for the holidays.
Now thinking about it... These teachers probably get off to kids suffering through weekends and holidays with all the work they are giving them. We need laws that say that no teacher can give homework for the weekend, especially for holidays. They suck. Kids have no time to be kids. They dont have time for hobbies, to do what they like, to play. Work work work. They really do teach kids to be slaves.

Kids usually have like what... 2 hours during the day to actually play and do their hobbies? Kids have 2 hours out of the day to be kids. No wonder kids dont care anymore and why everyone is stuck at home, playing games. Nobody got the time to gather the gang and go play ball games or hang out.
Homework teaches resentment, stress, and how to be a good factory worker whose only job is to work and then die.

It's really basically the same thing for me. Funnily enough, I found the work in middle and high school way easier than I did in elementary school.
That's because you needed elementary school to unlock your brain powers. Problem is most people don't even have brain powers they could unlock, me included.

I'm just going to say it. Sometimes I throw in some more difficult projects as an art teacher for the point of teaching resilience. I don't grade the quality, I grade based on how much effort the student put into figuring it out. If I give everyone an A and make everything simple, it won't help students when they get outside of highschool. Some added context, I don't give homework so all their work is done during class time
