These 3 tools are awesome for sure. What about marketing? Is Pinterest marketing still the best free way to get your designs seen, as well as creating posts for socials? If you were to choose a paid marketing strategy, what would it be? Google ads, Pinterest ads, etc.? Kittl is definitely a Canva contender, I'm just waiting for kittl work on mobile since to most of my work on the tablet. I love that you didn't use a template. That feels like really designing than just changing something in a template.

@@shimmymorris1 can you get the same quality of design with microsoft designer or canva , i dont see why kittl is better in your opinion .
I actually use Chat GPT to gather research one good about it is you can ask questions and key it to be percise you can also ask to sum things up and even gather from the beginning of the conversation. heard a lot about Kittl I think its valuable and being keen on illustrator it's very useful to get template and fix up in the program. I am currently on free plan and plan to get the pro version soon.
other tool mentioned I haven't heard about it but will def utilize it soon as well.

ChatGPT is amazing for ideation, generating dozens of ideas in seconds. It's also helping me use apps that I'm not skilled with yet.

Good share mate. ChatGPT is hit and miss in a lot of places though. Depending on what server Cloudflare is connecting too, you might not get on it at the minute! I have been trying for 3 days and still cannot get on it. Hopefully it will either calm down soon or their server will get some serious upgrades!

@@shimmymorris1 I finally got access today but it's hit and miss getting on there. Anyone failing to connect could try using a VPN to gain access as mine was always having issues with connecting in Manchester and London 😉

Hello I'm trying to get a tee shirt business up but I don't know what laptop would be best? I'm on a very! Very! Very ! tight budget....do you know what laptop would be a good starter one to try and set everything up and get started designing and selling them? Thank you so much for any info you can provide, I'm so new and just trying my best to learn all I can.
Honestly anything would do, you could even use your phone if you wanted... I only use MAC so i'm not the best person for this question as they don't work with a tight budget. But there are a few good dell laptops out there

Yeah, it'll be completely outdated. However we can still take various ideas or inspirations from chatgpt's responses. It's good enough for me.
That's why I wouldn't use it for trends, instead use it for evergreen ideas

I think it would be more transparent if you disclosed that you are commercially involved with PrettyMerch. If you are shilling your own product it should be known to the viewer in my opinion.
I have made a few videos telling everyone I work for Carbon6 and advise on PrettyMerch. That isn't a secret.

I’m not sure how a platform where everyone in the community is free to use your designs for their products is good for a POD business. 🤔Read the terms before you use it.

@@shimmymorris1 kittl. I did reach out to kittl and they clarified. 😁 But apparently I’m not the first to understand it as I did. You can leave your projects private and it only shares when you opt to publish. Hopefully they will change the terms to reflect that.

So true lol. I don't mind if they copy the saying or the idea and make their own version of it, but I really can't stand when my designs, title, description, and everything is copied exact. I started to copyright my top selling designs with the US Copyright office and provide my license number when I report them. I hope that is getting the copycats banned. I have noticed my designs aren't getting copied as much anymore. It's not too expensive.
@@elvis723 I wondered about doing that. Wasn't sure if it was viable, but it sounds like it is. 8)
@@leroifox it's like $65 for each license. Plus if someone copies your design after the date you got licensed, you can sue them if they counter strike or refuse your request to take theirs down and all court fees and attorney fees are charged to them. I learned that through a copyright attorney.
