Andy, while I understand that the high ground advantage would imply it is their side of the map, the distance to the starting bases implies they are your bases and that the high ground is merely a means of gaining advantage over the opponent that takes the base. Alternatively, just be a Kevin and take whatever base you want.
I definitely agree with the way Ed says it's made, since I just throw my leader in the high ground, getting more sight to the enemy side. A lot of players have the opposing idea though, I've had the enemy fight so hard for the base while never checking the other one since that's how they think the bases are set up.
Throw back to when Andy roo thought shippy and arby were terrible

Been grinding with Shippy lately, the stealth tactics are brutal. Esoecially some hit and runs with invincible shippy causing havoc 1v3 while our teammates build their economy
He can save his army with a cheap ability. Super OP

is it just me or does it seem like they're playing a different game? Ed gave them credit for being decent but they seem terrible like most of their opponents. they don't go for nodes. they walk with beams. they don't use siege. they don't use nightingale smoke or shrouds. Do they only upload wins? cuz most of their opponents are nothing like the sweats I come across.

@@TeamRespawn I think you guys are pretty good actually. Some questionable opinions (arby, shippy, and mass air) but who doesn't have those. It's just a lot of times the matches don't seem competitive, no back and forth. Just a comfortable win and the other guys don't mind sitting in a beam is why I brought it up.
