That is absolutely awesome Rob. well done catching this mate. I saw it over the west coast on a 7700 and got a notification it was a hydraulic issue.
I tried messaging a certain spotter I know there, but as usual, he was nowhere near PIK. 🙄

We don't get many emergencies fortunately, but a very slick and professional job getting the aircraft safely on the deck by all concerned.

What was emergency?

Hydraulic failure of some sort, lost nose gear steering and you may have notice the landing gear doors were still open on approach had to be towed off runway. Likewise the reverse thrust didn't deploy on engine 1 on touchdown
