As a CNA at a nursing home, this content speaks to me. Depends are pretty good if the person is able to stand; very difficult to change on a bedridden individual. The fact that it isn't very comfortable is a pro imo because you don't wanna get too comfortable sitting in your own pee. Haven't seen any of the other brands, but I'm sure they're better than the generic nursing home brief. If you can afford a brand name disposable diaper for your loved one, please do so. Again, depends aren't always great, but if they're relatively steady, they're a solid choice.

I worked as a CNA and then as a nurse for a cumulative of about 25 years. I always insisted on the diapers with tabs rather than pull-ups for bedbound patients. The pull-ups are close to impossible to put on someone who can't stand up. From my own personal experience since becoming disabled and having to use incontinence products myself, the Always brand of pull-up underwear are the most comfortable, but the cost is prohibitive.
