One of the best videos I have seen in this channel. Sometimes you might get bored in DHR due to 7-8 hrs journey time, so put on your headphones/bluetooth, enjoy music and nature and the charm of DHR with momos, coffee, etc.
Don't know how much profit will get for running this service, kudos to railway staff for their work , dedication, support, caring in running these services, I really want to come in coming years.

Because it was the first run after a sudden announcement, you couldn't get food. In usual times, food is available very easily at Tindharia, Kurseong, Sonada and, Ghum stations. Tindharia and Kurseong are the most popular food halts.

Wonderful and enjoyable yet a lazy and slow journey by train I visited Darjeeling in 2004 travelled by Sumo hired from Siliguri and reached in about 4 hours only but it was not so enjoyable and comfortable.

I have also travelled in this train and it was a very nostalgic experience. I can't even express my feelings I didn't knew that India was so beautiful 😍😍😍 The royal route,the beautiful waterfalls,the clouds.... Etc. I can't explain but now it's completely different as there are Vistadome Coaches,Narrow Gauge Locos. Before there were only Darjelling toy train and Steam Locos and now it's completely changed😭😭😭😭😢😢😢😢😭😭😭😭😢😢😢😢 but now it's changed and more safer. So I am little happy😀😀😀

I visited Darjeeling in 2004 travelled by Sumo hired from Siliguri and reached in about 4 hours only but it was not so enjoyable and comfortable.
Yeah sumo rides may be faster but Toy train rides are just amazing

I have also travelled in this train and it was a very nostalgic experience. I can't even express my feelings I didn't knew that India was so beautiful 😍😍😍 The royal route,the beautiful waterfalls,the clouds.... Etc. I can't explain but now it's completely different as there are Vistadome Coaches,Narrow Gauge Locos. Before there were only Darjelling toy train and Steam Locos and now it's completely changed😭😭😭😭😢😢😢😢😭😭😭😭😢😢😢😢 but now it's changed and more safer. So I am little happy😀😀😀

Sir, really awesome video. Loved the complete video and was surprised to see the banker loco along the route. My dream is to travel in DHR some day. I am basically from Tamil Nadu and have traveled in Nilgiri Mountain railway, the only rack railway in Asia. Your narration and the visuals were awesome. I will definitely travel in DHR one day that too wanted to travel during winter
