She captured perfectly the mix between the managers i've had who you PRAY never even look at you, and the ones ive had who you wish you could strangle. She's a fucking KILLER actor and I am so sad that I didn't know of her till this!
I never realized Chris and John were such long time friends! No wonder their chemistry is so great on the show! WOW these guys have been AROUND! They are so good on the show. They've also been married to their spouses for a LONG time which is almost unheard of especially with being in acting. I love these guys!

I've been waiting for them to FINALLY start doing promotion interviews. I dont know why I'm so obsessed with this show in a way I've never been about any show before but I just cannot wait and this is the closest thing to getting the actual show lol. I hope they do more interviews soon.

Oh my goodness! Thank you for talking about the elevator!!! I’ve been an actor for decades and I marvel at each of the actors changing into their innies every single time I see it! The work is so nuanced and unforced. It looks so freaking effortless and it completely isn’t! Sooo excited for season 2!!!

I hate it when they wait SO long to bring another season out for a show and especially when they are/were popular! I didn't start watching this until early 2024 as I didn't think I'd like it. Same thing with "Silo" but I'm not nearly as addicted to Silo as I am this show! There are other shows I really loved and if they wait too long.. well, we do lose interest as I know I did and I just didn't care anymore. Apple TV+ was rated not too long ago as on the low end of streaming services but I think some of the newer shows and movies are bringing that up and believe me they are taking advantage by dropping a new season of a show ONE episode a week which means of course the money keeps pouring in. They raised the price last year and I dropped it. Later I decided I missed some of the shows (like "For All Mankind") and got it back. I did that a couple of times.
I really enjoy this show, is really different, the idea of the two of you, but at the same time it's "you" without the memories that influence you. It's awesome
I used to think Brian Cranston was THE TELEVISION ACTOR. then I watched sopranos and Jim captivates any lens he's sharing light with. But Adam Scott going from me as a boy DESPISING his character in step brothers. To see him in this show is sooo beautiful I never knew that such an "asshole actor" could be soooooo sensitive and just feels man. I love this show it's perfectly cast
It is amazing to me that in all that I’ve watched about Severance that no one has slipped up and said “Bert and Ernie”, the first couple that children have been introduced to. 💙

I was wondering what "Zolly" meant and realized, of course, they're doing a dolly zoom. Didn't realize there was now a device made to do that one specific thing. (Probably most famously used in Vertigo and Jaws)
I only figured it out for two reasons.. one is "Better Call Saul" where he talks to his guys about the "dolly" and two is because they show them using it. lol

They just get along because they ARE great friends and worked together before. They just played the roles so well it comes across as if they are actually lovers but no they aren't. I've always loved Chris's movies. When I was young I watched "The Deer Hunter" and I normally did NOT watch war type movies but something about the preview caught my eye. There was what now a days would be called an "All Star Cast!" It is VERY dramatic and not for all people. Chris playing a guy who stayed behind in Asia after the Vietnam War because he was so screwed up. Robert Deniro who was a major player in the movie went back to find him and he does. He finds out Chris is pretty much out of it doing "Russian roulette" for a living and hooked on what was probably heroin. Those scenes were OFF THE SCALE. Geez SO many greats from back when that still bring it all mind blowing. I didn't really notice John or remember him much except for Transformer movie where he stood out (of course). I've seen a LOT of movies.. my mom loved movies and we use to go together. Let me put it this way, mom went to the "movies" and got to see the ORIGNAL "Wizard of Oz" 1939! I became a full fledged movie lover and have so many GREAT memories of seeing movies with her including the very first "Mary Poppins" 1964 where we all piled in my dad's pickup truck and went to the drive it. I was enchanted and scared at the same time. I was only 3 years old and I STILL have memories of being at the movies. I remember the next day or so I was outside looking up at the sky looking for the people that I thought might be up there. Yep, I remember things from VERY early ages. Anyway, movies are in my blood. The guys aren't gay (nothing wrong with that if they were) and that's it. What we see is a TRUE friendship that's lasted for decades.. not too many of those these days.
Skipped a lot of important details here and I'm not sure if it's avoiding spoilers or for simplicity sake. We do know what the numbers mean. The tempers abbreviated. I'll refrain from diving in though. I've watched season 1 over 6 times straight through and watched various other episodes and unhinged hours of content analyzing all of it as well as bonus content, behind the scenes, interviews, the Lexington Letter, etc. I know I'm not the only one who thinks this is actually amongst the best shows of all time. High hopes for season 2. So far so good from the little we've seen. Only a few more days ...what I'm curious about is the very intro "credits" of this season which call it a Season 5 production. Are we time jumping through the show via credits? I already have theories that season 1 isn't actually season 1 but a loop from later in the show but my main PAUSE button on that is being able to loop it all back in the end and to maintain the characters youthful appearances relative to when they started the show... but that leads to other theories I'm not ready to let my mind explore yet.
