Personally I think this build is way more sturdy than anything you would by on Marketplace for just $700.
For 700 could get a rusty skeleton
"Oh, no, he's not going to drive over that poor old chair, is he?"
Lol. Now you can make a chair repair video. 🙂 Great job on your dump trailer. It's beautiful!
This is not the first time something like this has happend. You cant really see much from the cab. Feels like driving a tank.
"This will never break". Was that a direct quote from the Titanic?
Umm nope lol.
Andrew Camarata would be proud man.
Nice work Ants! Your trailer looks really solid and should hold up very well.
It’s always a balancing act between bought or built, but I think most of the time when building something like this it is usually built for your needs and will last a lifetime 🙂👍
Nice work!
Very true! Thanks for checking out the video.
Thought I commented on these 2 vids. Guess not. Now your at 30K,,,Wow! Great job Andris.
been a wild ride
Nice work Andris! You are one of my favorite subscriptions, and an inspiration to get going on my own projects. Also the production value of each video just keeps improving. You should be proud. Thank you for sharing with us.
Awesome, thank you! I try my best, but sometimes i dont like what i make. For example i do end up cutting most of the stuff out that i record and im thinking im talking too much. Hopefully in the future i will improve.
Ants, a brilliant episode….. really enjoyed it…. The next project is to build an independent building to house all of the tractors 😁😬🔩⚒️
that's like pipe dream t here
Not in your world, put the idea on the back burner 😁
Nice work Andris…good welding…..
still holding up :)
Des gut videos muvis👍👍
Awesome video ants!! “This thing is starting to piss me off” hahaha love your videos, I see you changed your profile picture… soo next video… rebuilding a tank hahaha keep up the great work buddy
Now that i'm thinking about it... i could use a tank lol.
RIP Chair! 😆 Nice functional trailer. Cheers!
your machine park is growing. nice
congratulations on another successful build all of your own. Not having to go over someone elses job makes the big difference to the trailer....brilliant work.
Thanks Kevin.
To be sure, you have built a battleship of a trailer! Sometime you might find a truck scales and learn why it is so hard to push! With those doors at each end you will be able to load trees to be milled. Good luck and I admire your engineering skills!
Thanks for the tips!
Got your channel from Mike Festiva, glad he mentioned you, love your content!
Awesome! Thank you!
That’s hilarious I love the flat chair so true
:D
I think a really cool
Project would be to make a set of tracks for your bobcat that go over the tires
I couldn't take my 👀 off this kick ass posting😲...can't wait to see it in action! Ants Pants you rock buddy😀👏👏👏👏👍
Thanks Buck for the kick-ass comment. Take care!
In the next video we get to see the restoration of a wood chair. Can't wait for that video!
If there was only something you could put in that dump trailer to test it ... looks around and sees nothing but piles of snow ... nah, that'll never work!
lol :D i was thinking "umm lets dump some snow perhaps"?
Awesome job! I knew it would work. You are very talented and be very proud of yourself. You can't buy the happiness you get when a project you completed works and does it's job.
Thanks so much! 😊
Andris , if you had bought a used trailer then you would have deprived us of hours of content , so , I vote for hand built every time , take care buddy , I'm waiting for the next adventure
Thanks buddy
Yayyy I’m so excited!! I can’t watch the whole video until later but it’s looking great, I’ll finish watching tonight
Cool Darrel. Hope you enjoy!
GREAT JOB ANDRIS MY FRIEND, ANTS PANTS, 👌🏻👌🏻🤙🏻🤙🏻🤙🏻✌🏻✌🏻✌🏻🇺🇸
One of my favorite channels..luv the humor bro...
I appreciate that
Nice referb of the chair 💥
lol
Coming from a computer programmer ... I'M IMPRESSED. kek.
Lots better than your last one.
Thanks Man!
You never cease to amaze me with your multiple talents Andris
Thanks Greg!
That took a lot of work and it turned out great! Ok on to the next Ants Pants video! 😎👍🏻
Still works great
Unless I have missed it: Reminder to dig out the rusty engine. I'd very much like to see it. Old engines should be saved
it's on my to do list, haha
@@Ants_Pants looking forward to it and I hope it is still usable
33:26 RIP Soviet chair 😪 🤣 Great video as always! Very very motivating!
😁
❤ the build great job
Hi Ants,Canada calling yes what Mike said! You make me laugh sometimes.I always enjoy watching.
Lol thanks sir
Well, there you go, you built a dump trailer! I think that’s pretty cool and you’ve done one hell of a job!
I think you did a wonderful job on the trailer well worth your time and effort
Thanks Valerie! i think so too
Great project and some funny, humorous parts, too!
😜
The ashes from your wood burning heaters, save them they work well on snow or ice slippery driveways and sidewalks.
Hi Ant, I know it's an old video but I only just watched it. Well done mate, awesome build and that will be extremely useful around the place
Glad you enjoyed it
Really nice job on the dump trailer 👏
The TH-cam revenue will make it well worth it. Great project Ant.
Thanks ❤
I can't believe you built that whole thing yourself! WOW! Just imagine when you build your machine castle, you can just say, "Oh I have that part neatly organized in the back room!" Wheels, grease nipples, starters, hydraulics, tires, etc. Whatever you need to maintain your machines, all in one big, beautiful, monster machine castle! I can just see it all.🚜🚚🛵🏍🛻🛺🛴🚲🦽🦼⛽🛹🚁🚟🛰🚀🛸🚡
That would be the end goal dream for sure 😅 thank you for commenting 👍
Great job bud, you need make a grooves in your ramp, easily to exit barn with loader.
Thanks Antonio
Thanks Antonio
nice job Ants
Thanks Tom!
Oh man, I loved that chair!
me too. I have about 9 more though lol
great work!!
hieno snyggt jobbat ant
👍
This is a very nice design. Thoughtfully constructed.
Thanks! Btw i love your channel name
Hey Andris, quite new to your channel. Trailer looks great, well done. Maybe put Patrons names on side of Trailer. Many thanks from Nr Liverpool UK.
Cool idea Chris, i may do that when i do some fixes to the trailer.
Andris, nice job on the trailer build. I think you have something that will survive time and will be passed to your next generation. Keep an eye on your hitch because it is carrying a lot of strain given that your axle is placed at the back of the trailer. Experience speaking now as I have owned several steel trailers and put a lot of time and effort into painting them to minimize rust. Rust is inevitable with a steel trailer. What I came to realize is looks are nice but stopping rust is the key to maintaining the structural integrity. What I did was paint the trailer black and then spray the trailer with old oil & ATF spring and fall then drive on a dusty road. I never had a rust issue again but I didn’t win any beauty contests either. Just sharing some cold Canadian experience.
It actually broke like half a year later hauling boulders 😂😂 i got it on video as well
@@Ants_Pants Andris, sorry for my comments being out of sync with your timeline but I am in process of watching and liking all your videos. That was one huge load of rocks (tons) on the trailer when the fatal break of the tongue happened. The great news is the rest of the trailer handle the excessive weight beautifully. If you have a free moment (doubt you ever will with the project list you have) I would move those rear wheels forward. It will go a long way to reducing stress on the frame of the entire trailer and will greatly improve the manoeuvrability of the trailer when towing and backing up. Overall love your content, dialogue, sarcasm, and your drive to tackle any project. Hope you don’t mind me commenting on past videos as I get caught up. I definitely look forward to your Friday video issuances bro.
Awesome build Andris. That chair though.😄😄😄😄
RIP soviet chair nr 126439
@@Ants_Pants Lmao 🤣🤣🤣
Thanks for sharing my brother, Kirk from Louisiana,USA! 👌🏻🤙🏻🤙🏻🇺🇸
Thanks for watching!
Nice job - you inspire me
☺👍👍
Nice project, I’m sure it will make your life a little bit easier
I hope so!
i love these build videos
Me too
I like the build! Also the log cabin rebuild!
That trailer is a work of art. I love how you overbuild things and make them indestructible
thanks bud
Might be worth considering capping off the ends of the larger square tubing cross piece, that way you reduce the chance of rusting inside.
Yup
Hats off Andris, very decent job!
Thanks i'm glad you enjoyed it.
Hay antis got an idea for you make you a sister clamp to pick up sheet metal and so you can attach it to your skidsteer would help you a lot in lifting heavy sheets of sheet metal
Hmm 🤔 gotta look into it
Awesome vids, good job!
Thanks for the visit
I tried to use one of those little stick welders a friend owned. I was never able to get it to work. You’re actually doing pretty well with yours. When I got my own welder I got a small wire feed unit that was very easy to use but took a while to build up a larger bead. Finally got an old Airco multi process machine that pretty much did everything well. I was actually able to run stick for the first time with it. It runs wire fast enough to take some of the tedium out of making long or large beads. Or just a lot of little beads. That’s going to be a great trailer.
Thanks james. Yeah at first i didnt really get it going at all. But as you continue to do it then will eventually get better at it. At my work iv used both ESAB migmaster 250 and WÜRTH 180-5 and both of them make welding feel so easy lol. Like a kid with a hot clue gun.
Nice job. I switched rods while making the frame for my detroit diesel and saw a huge improvement as well. Those welds would pass as welds from a large MIG. Glad im not the only one who still uses arc 🙂
That is a projekt you should be very proud of! It looks robust and very useful.
it has served me well so far, but it needs some upgrades :D
Wow Ant, excellent Job!!
Thanks Scott
To be honest, I've been the recipient of so called professional welding and your poor welds as you call them, were better than the welding that was done for me. Never sell yourself short, at least you're willing to have a go. 👍
Thanks buddy
Even if you could have bought a trailer, we would not have had a chance to watch you work. Thanks
Good point 😅👍
Super Video super gemacht
Brilliant 👏
Are the nipples in a right place to get once it's built 🤔 be abit ov a squeeze .
Yeah, no problem.
Great work Mr. Pants. I think it was money well spent and a fun project for us all to watch. I am looking forward to seeing a load in it. Keep your videos coming.
Glad you enjoyed it. Thanks for the continued support!
Excellent job Ants, fantastic videos🌿🌿🌿
Thank you 😌
Baltic Camerata goin' berserk on those support stands...but overall a really neat dumptrailer!
Baltic Camerata. 🤣🤣🤣🤣
You could’ve made a trip latch like a dump truck bed with a rope going from the back of the trailer along the side to the back of your tractor! Then you just pull it to release the tailgate when you’re ready!
The thing with that is that i dont wanna fill the bed to the top with gravel. i think either the axel will break in half 😂😂 or it wont be able to dump that load, so i will remove the tailgate when i used it to dump gravel and most likely only fill it up halfways for starters. Like when i made the loader for my tractor. at first i was scared to use it because i thought it would break, but after years and years, iv built up confidence now knowing that thing is indestructible
Привет Антс, отличная работа, удачи вам всем и крепкого здоровья.
Как всегда и вам
I you wanted to get the 4 points of stability again, you could mount a couple of feet that flip down from that beam the cylinders attach to on the bottom.
That's Awesome Dave
Cool I'm going to make one ☺👍👍👍👍
That's awesome bro
OK got the rams ,,steel and hydraulic power pump ,an old trailer as well ,,Yip I'm set ☺👌👍
Will start project in December
@@shanedevries805 cool 👨 have a blast. Noiv been looking around. It's about 2 times cheaper to buy a old dump trailer and try to fix that 😅👍
Classic! Looks professional you must be v. pleased. Do you have history with breaking chairs? lol
Yes i do ! sadly
Fantastic job you have done there buddy. Over here some dump trailers are many many thousands, so youve done well. I like the decals on the side of the trailer too 😂
Had to put something there i suppose 🤔😀
Should have put the grease zerks through the pins.
Load the snow in it and haul it off instead of pushing it and making a annoying pile that freezes up hard and then you have to wait for it to thaw out! Just a suggestion if you’re bored and want to get some use out of it! lol 😂
🤣 your like a mind-reader
Going to be nice for hauling dirt, rocks, sand or firewood, just about anything brother! Great job Andris!
Thanks 👍
Very good made 👍👍👍.
But if i am you i would add something more.
At front of trailer (i mean faceing traktor) i would add a steel box. So you can put there some material you need for loging like: Chain, robe, motor-saw (inkl. Benzin, oil, reserve chain), working tools, …
Also you can put a holder for hydraulic pipe if no need. (Will be protected from dirt)
So you have everything you need allways with you. (Do not forget some warm drinks and / or 🍺🍺🍺😁😁😁)
Also as you can take off the back door complitly i would add a holder on the side of trailer. If no need the back door you can place it on the side / if need you easely can replace it, as it is there allways.
Good luck.
Thanks for great ideas buddy 😜
Tire chains for your Bobcat would be a big step in making it useful year around, even just two.
Yup sure would help me ton 😅
Maybe you want to consider buying a cheapo little plasma cutter for future projects. It saves a LOT of time and the cuts are good enough for rough welding jobs, plus with your new welding electrodes you can fill impressive big gaps. 🙂
👍👍 its on the list 🤔 then again thw list is getting big 😅
Hey, congratulation for the build. Hydraulic system top up from filter to avoid contamination, i had the same problem when topping up the backhoe, it took forever. It was caused by the old filter nearly clogged up. Changing yours should solve that too ;) cheers
I need to look into it abit. When im doing the service for the tractor ill look it up. Thanka 💪 and take care
No grease zirks on the cylinders from the factory because they were prob surplus excavator or crane truck cylinders that use rifle drilled pins.
Mild steel the eyes, no bushing in them
Nice job! maybe you should attach reflectors to the corners of the trailer...
Thanks Benni. Yeah maybe. If i find some ill throw them on
Tusen takk for god underholdning 👍🤗👍
Awesome video.
I dont know if you have it but you should add a hose break valve (google translate) because if your kids or someone else is under the trailer and somehow the hose breaks the dump box wont fall down on them. just a friendly tip.
That's a good tip. Thank you i will need to look into it when im @ the hydraulic shop.
Good job but I would have put the the gate hinges on top rocks or sand falls it doesn't fall on your gate otherwise good build
Good idea actually
Awesome build! Can't wait to see it in action. Maybe put a gusset where you altered the trailer neck for extra strength?
A good idea but once i finish something im too lazy to go back. Unless it breaks lol
I just discovered this channel and am loving it. I do a lot of what you do only worse but that's ok :) . keep the content coming
i will do keep em coming!
Very nice trailer build. Biggest weak spots I see are, the axle and wheels/tires. Way to weak for the trailer
Yeah im looking into a upgrade in the near future
Great job , I think you need to make some tracks for your bobcat.
Thanks. I think i need a tracked bobcat 😂
@@Ants_Pants just found u today , watching the videos as I type . Question what do you do for a living? & how old r u ?
@@toddcaskey9984 Work @ a company which produces veneer/plywood and bed slats, 29yo.
nice euh tank you made man hahaha i would replace the wheels just to be sure
lol 😂 i will replace them if they break. But untill then i dont wanna spend anymore $ on this project
Nice Yanmar. I would love to have one that size.
Took me a while to hunt this one down. I have checked and have not seen one like this since i managed to score mine.
Another TH-camr I watch found out the hard way that the reason for his 'crappy welds' was the electrodes he was using, as you have.
Good call👍
Looks great and an another accomplishment! I would have thought you'd hinge the rear door from the top for easier dumping. You could rotate the door upwards and support it on the top if you needed to load anything longer than the trailer as well. Also tack down the bed to the cross supports.
I was planning to remove the rear hatch, when i use it for dumping goods. Wasent even sure that i should make the rear hatch, as i m thinking it will be off most of the time.
fish plate the hitch area
👍
"Why is this keep happening to me!!?" LOL LOL
This was not the first time i drive over something like that 😂
@@Ants_Pants Love your channel buddy, keep going!
It’s looking good Andris my friend! Those rams look huge in there, I think your trailer is going to be real nice! I like it! I believe you should get the trailer hooked up to the tractor and get everything working before you finish it and then do your painting and material protection done! Just my opinion brother but you’re doing fine!
