I have the Austar and adding wheel weights to the front (about 30g each) tyre makes a huge difference. The austar doesn't have enough weight on the front to grip properly. A few other free changes to make it better are, remove the little steering limiting pips at the front and remove the tow bar and spare tyre at the back.
i think with a lighter body the austar would have matched the trx on every obstacle. the jeep body is a little top heavy and the chassis is all plastic. tires dont grip well sometimes. they really change up when you get a softer tire and foams on them. great video
The esc in the austar is great I got the injora mb100 also a great esc thanks great crawling mate.would love a tutorial how to chop body's your good at it man
That’s no problem mate off course I will I’ll have a vid up in the next couple off days for you or might go live so I can show all my body chops I’ve done on all different size rigs 🤟👌👍
The weight of the vehicle is going to affect the grip of the tires as well. Maybe thats why the jeep isnt gripping as well
100% the weight defo has a lot to do with it 👍

Are the tires vented on the austar?
No mate as I like to take mine through water ect
@@lbsrcs Stock austar plastic wheels are vented , think that mite be the grip difference .
Wow, having climbed some of those lines I think these did really good mate. Good work Luke.
Cheers mate 👍
Hi, how long does the battery last? Please also specify the type of battery. Thanks Anti
