Questing beast is always in a state of text-superposition. It both does, and does not, have any particular line of text so long as it is observed. Magic players are well renowned for their inability to observe the particular text on cards, so when a questing beast occurs in the wild, its effects are unpredictable. Foreign language copies of questing beast are a particularly nasty variant, as even if the magic player does bother to read the card, its contents are incomprehensible.

i had that several times already, i like janky stuff and funny and weird cards that hardly see play, a lot of people like it but then there is the one or other guy who is like " dude you need more interactions, your deck is to weak, put more counter and removals in"
I find it so weird that someone would complain that (effectively) your deck is too weak. Like... isn't that kind of what you hope for? I mean it's definitely one thing to give advice. But on the other hand, the one guy who proudly claims he maybe has 1 removal spell in his whole deck worries me. He says he probably didn't put a board wipe in because they're banned at his school play group.
@@TraeKryzer Don't you wanna play a fair game? If I just stomp someone while they do nothing, that isn't fun, so if someone overestimated their deck in Rule 0, that negatively effects my experience.

That's my commander's "gotcha" ability. This is a misprint but it's in the oracle text.
