I've said it before and I'll say it again, The Beatles are the greatest gift given to the world and a world without The Beatles, would be a sad and depressing place to live in.
It looked to me like Paul's daughter Stella near the end, Paul seemed out of his element for that song without his piano altho of course he sounded great.
Paul Schaffer had to talk Paul into doing this. This is one of the few if not the first time Paul performed live after Linda died. Yes that was Robbie Robertson from the Band playing lead guitar.
I though I remembered something like that. Yes, Linda died in '98. We miss her. And I'm always touched to see the Lava Lamps by Wix Wickens keyboards at a live show.
Like you, Harri, I've heard better, but the message is the same every time you hear it and brings a tear to your eye. It what we should all do, Let it Be!
Technically only McCartney and Billy Joel were singing, all the others are standing around anyway. The guitar player, someone here in the comments below wrote Robbie Robertson (The Band), and I would agree, it looks like him.
I must admit, I wasn’t very impressed with this performance and knowing how soon after Linda McCartney’s death it was just makes me sad. I think the timing of this award could have been better. Still cool to see this collection of talent on one stage. Thanks Harri and Dave 🌺✌️
This song hits me hard every time. For sure my favorite Beatles song! Beautiful!❤️
I am glad that you enjoyed this one. Thank you.
I so love it when all the superstars get together to perform. Thanks Dave and Harri!
Anne - Thank you very much.

I could not agree more. They made the world a better and more enjoyable place. We could all use more of that, no matter the era.
Sir Paul McCartney . Bless thus man! And Billy ain't no slouch either!!!
Truly a classic. Nostalgia 😊😊
Lacking feeling and a real connection.(could of been amazing)
Agreed.
Harri, I agree with your assessment. Your honesty is refreshing.
Thanx..I was worried ill be in your bad books 😀
@@HarriBestReactions Never! I am no different than anyone else here at your place. I depend on your honesty, my friend.
Robbie Robertson of the Band

Great suggestion Dave ❤🤩🥰🙏
Agnete, Thank you very much.
Wow another great selection Dave, I think you made Harri's day. Thanks to both of you.
❤🤩🥰🙏
Thanks, Cynthia and Agnete. Let It Be has a special significance to me, although the performance and recording could have been better.
❤❤❤@@davebzen795
I think Paul deliverers Let I Be best from the piano bench.
Thank you!!!❤
I understand exactly what you're saying Harri. They can't all be top tier. ☮🖤🤘
Agree totally. Thanks for taking the time to comment, though..
Piano Man il più eclettico e completo songwriter performer 👏🎹👏🎹

I agree that there are much better performances. Let It Be is a song that represents so much to me personally.
Technically only McCartney and Billy Joel were singing, all the others are standing around anyway. The guitar player, someone here in the comments below wrote Robbie Robertson (The Band), and I would agree, it looks like him.
Yes, it is Robbie Robertson. Good pickup!
Robbie Robertson, The Band.
They were inducting Paul as a solo artist. Why was he doing a Beatles' song?
robby Roberson the band Canadian
Maybe they should have rehearsed first.
And nobody can play the solo like George.
Robbie Robertson from the Band! Thx.
I found it sad to watch. He had lost Linda the year before and on that night at Hall of fame, he wasn't at his best!
Makes sense now

I didnt know Linda had just passed.Makes sense now..He wasnt himself
I agree with you 100% Harry, it SUCKED!!! The guitar solo was horrible, too. 🤮
Hahahahaha..I wasnt as brutal as you
So stupid that Paul doesn't just sing the song. Someone is totally fucking up the iconic Harrison solo. Dumb
It wasn't the best version of that song I heard either.
This isn’t my favorite either.
