Unfortunately I think Sannes’ line to Hange comes from a sense of futility, not hope. His lines about the order of things is in regard to how those in service to power will eventually have to do immoral acts to maintain it. His feelings are genuine and heart felt and he sympathizes with Hange’s position. But that’s almost certainly because he feels that she will also end up in the same position as him one day and nothing ever really changes.

I think you guys are forgetting a crucial detail that was already mentioned. In episode 2x10, the mid-roll clearly states that "It is not known where Ymir's hometown is located. However, its location is most certainly outside the confines of the Walls."
Historia's backstory really hits different. Her mother throwing her several feet in the air is their first interaction. And Historia is so happy because it's the first time she's felt like a normal child with her mother. Then she curses her existence. And even in her final moments, her mother wishes she never had her. Which is why Ymir could tell Historia was just putting on a front that whole time. Her words were sweet, but that time with her mother must've been on her mind the whole time. She kept all of that pain inside herself. She lived exactly how her father wanted. Which makes that scene with Ymir that it would make her happy if Historia were to live a life worth living so much more impactful. For all of her life, people have told her how to live. Ymir is one of the few people who gave her a choice.
I absolutely don’t blame the mother tho. She basically lived the rest of her days in fear of death, which was a completely valid feeling in the end. She by far had it the worst.

I thought that when Erwin appointed Hange as next Commander, he meant he could be sent to death by the government in this situation. So it's not a promotion thing, although techniquely it is.
It's only in a flashback from season 1 where Armin mentions his parents plans about exploring with a hot air baloon, it's when Armin shows Erin the book he got from his parents the first time. Afterwards we never hear Armin mention his parents again and we learn he lives with his grandparents.

It’s weird that they see Reiner and them as potentially the good guys just because the government’s corrupt. Like they killed essentially 1/3 of all of humanity including erens mom in what could be considered the poorest section of the walls (besides the underground) since it’s the outer ring. If they were really good guys wouldn’t they just go after the oppressors like the king rather than ending the innocent oppressed?
They r understanding the show way more than u have looks like. They r not saying reiner and others r good guys, they have mentioned many times every character seems morally grey and nothing is black and white in this show. But they r mature enough to know that reiner and others aren't technically bad guys, they know there might be a big reason why reiner and others did what they did. They r understanding and mature, unlike other dumb reactors who instantly pick sides without understanding a single thing. This is why autosave and filmbuff will always be the best reactors
@@azmalftw Oh no I do understand the show and the situation those characters are in and the gray area it sort of falls into but if you listen to their talk (specifically the last few minutes of this vid) when they mention Reiner and them potentially being the good guys it’s based off of so little at this point in the story. Even when they first found out who the armored and colossal titan were they seemed to have sort of brushed off or underplayed the near genocide level of destruction that Reiner and friends caused. Whether that’s because they forgot the level of destruction or not idk but it feels like they’re coming to this conclusion due to lack of info rather than some big brain, reading between the lines, higher level of understanding of the show. The most they’ve gotten at this point to show reiner and friends aren’t all bad is berthold saying something along the lines of “do you think we wanted to do this” which they never even bring up in their discussions when considering reiners group to be good guys.
I get what you're saying, but at the end of the day it's just a theory, and they have a LOT of crazy theories. With these few episodes in which we explore the corruption of the king and the military I think it's understandable that they are questioning whether Reiner&co are actually fighting for the "good" side, even if like you said they killed many innocents. They didn't killed 1/3 of humanity (but 1/3 of human territory was lost). It's mentioned in 1x2 (I think) that with their initial attack in Shignashina, about 10,000 people died. At that point (before the culling in 846), the population within the Walls was of 1,250,000 persons, wich means that less than 1% of the population was killed. Granted, in 846, 250,000 persons died in the culling, but one could argue that it's more on the Government than on Reiner and Bertholt.

And given that other smart reactors understood and theorized Eren eating Grisha by this point (i.e Filmbuff did it in Season 2 I think), hence, I am shocked that they didn't. You want to see proof of what I'm saying? Watch the 3x6 reaction when it comes out. I'm quite sure they will be like "how did we not understand this before?"

You two are smart reactors that actively try to connect pieces of the story, yet sometimes a piece can be given too prematurely that spoils a future event. This is the case in season 3 ep 12's after-credits scene. It was there to get people hyped for the second half of season 3, though it really doesn't serve any narrative purpose. It's not even shown at that point in the manga. You'll be thinking about that scene throughout the second half of season 3 and thinking how things led up to that scene. This will ruin the suspense, especially for people who love to go in depth post-reaction like you guys. The worst part is, the event that this after-credits scene "ruins" is the pinnacle of AOT writing, and fiction in general. People will say it's fine to react to the after-credits scene. But for you guys, I think the risks of spoiling yourselves is too high for the short reaction. Plus, no one ever wished they had watched the season 3 ep 12 after credits scene before continuing the story, but so many people wish they hadn't watched the after credits scene and had just went into the climax of the story blind.

Its "Hanged"..."hung" is umm....it refers to something else.

In the anime she's confirmed to be female... It's just in the manga that their gender is not confirmed

I love listening to reactors' theories. I love hearing how close they get, and (more often) how WAY OFF they get!
They are so close to so many things lmao. Probably the most inquisitive reactors ive seen that get into the story to this level. Lots of others get really into the story but not many of those are trying to figure out the puzzle.
