Nice to see more L5R love. 1e is my favorite edition due to its lethality and its balance between 90s edginess, cheesiness, and elegance of lore and presentation.
Great video! L5R is by far my favorite setting and I love 5th edition.
I think it would be great if you could make some videos on the character creation process, I just love hearing people goin through the 20 question and finding new angles and ideas that I never had when creating my own characters.

I understand the feeling for this game, while I was introduced to TTRPG's with "Changeling: The Dreaming", it was with L5R that encountered my love for this kind of games. That, and the fact that I liked "The Last Samurai" or Total War: Shogun 2; it was like a saying over here, "the ring fit the finger".
Also, I'm Venezuelan, and there was a time when water was scarce (even today, but before was way worse), and everyday I had to carry water, uphill, to the house. A good friend of mine invited me to a game he prepped, a play by post, and imagine my excitement everytime it was my turn. I carried my water, filled the internal deposit and then posted just before to look for some more. The game me the situation more bearable for a fully stressful day.
I have my reserves for 5th. Edition of L5R, find it more complicated that 4th. Edition and before. Sure, the lore was a mix of everything after the Oblivion Gate War, but, come on! You needed to downgrade the Mantis Clan? But, after hearing you, I find it interesting and I will give it a try in the first attempt.

Love to see the l5r content. Would love to play more but it’s tough finding mature players who aren’t either edge lords or whining about how somebody else offended their character’s pronouns
