Thank you Sir! ❤️🙏🏼 I have this kit and was using just the diffusion dome all along... Can't wait to experiment more with everything now, especially with the bounce card!
Reached just halfway of watching the video and its already so much educational and engaging. I think in TH-cam platform, there are two types of photography channel - PIXEL VILLAGE & the rest of the channels. So calm, composed and confident. First came to know about this channel via ' Mobile Photography tutorial' and ever since, not one video I've found below the standards in this channel. So much of hardwork, planning, clarity and details that engages the viewers. The part where ' these 3 spreads the light' while ' these 3 narrows it', that was just brilliant. I've watched so many videos of AK-R1 kit, but the way Radhakrishnan sir explains it never fails - just goes to show the amount of passion and experience he has as a photographer. They say you don't tell everyone I'm a this photographer or I'm a that photographer, his elegance in simplicity is what ultimately makes him recognized in this field. You're simply the best sir, so much to be inspired and so much to be learned from you. Great channel, great video like always. Loved it !
Pro user who has used this accessory kit for years. Use a full range of Godox gear and a big fan. but, honestly, it's sad that the quality of this accessory kit is so lousy. If you're a casual user, you are probably OK. The grid is great. The dome is useful. From there, it goes bad quickly. The snoot mainly just cuts your power level in a big way with very little light focusing. It's way too short to be effective. Two grids stacked are incredibly more effective or even one grid with the barn doors closed tightly. However, those plastic barn door hinges are garbage. Doors pop off all the time. The dome is very effective at spreading light over a bigger space (don't believe the hype that it makes the light softer-its purpose is to spread the light). It's good at opening up a background with some light. The bounce card is a great tool for quick easy light up close with some bounce off the ceiling and a kick of light straight ahead. Used it for a long time. But, again, the plastic construction is garbage. Also, if you're moving around, the weight of the bounce card is too heavy for the magnet and the whole unit falls off. The gels are not a proper florescent/tungsten color balance, but they are kinda close (use Rosco gels instead). So, buy the set for the dome, the grid and maybe the barn doors if you treat them kindly. Case is nice.
Hey! Thanks for sharing that information here, I'm starting more into professional photos now using off flash photos but now I want to improve my photo skills with the flash On camera, I was thinking to buy this kit for 3 items in particular, the bounce card, the dome difusor and the honey comb grid, instead of this kit do you recommend a better quality one instead? Thanks!!
@@danielkalvito mag mod is supposed to be good. but the other piece you should use is the orange filter indoors. you set your white balance to the ambient light in custom white balance then put the orange filter on or else the flash will make people look blue. but if you just use the bare flash and set the white balance to flash then the background will be orange. not a lot of people understand orange filters but its really important indoors with incandescent light..
I like the dome diffusion as my location mostly outdoor with scenery background so for shadow background not a problem . which one should I go for it as unlikely I will use full set?
Why does your model have 3 sparks in his eye? Seems you are using another 2 side lights? I think I will use this kit only when I am unable to bring the real stuff i.e soft-boxes.
I have bought Godox AK-R1 and now got this video in recommendations! Good timing!
I appreciate the clear explanation of all the attachments, thanks from the states, Radha!
Brilliant. Have recently moved over to Godox and I got the AKR1 accessory. I'm now off to try it out, thank you for the demonstration.
Thank you for teaching me how to use the AK-R1 !!!! Great tutorial

the snoot effect is also accomplished with the manual zoom all the way in on the flash.. this one goes to 105mm..

Great Demo love it
Thank you, great demo.

I am tempted to recommend the Dome (which is your choice too) for your kind of use outdoors. 👍
Sir, very informative. Next, explain on AK-R21.

Awesome !!!!
For large group shots, let me say 20 people, what should I use? Dome or Bounce Card?
Great
Awsmm ❤ i have this kit❤❤
Thanks!!!!🙏🙏🙏📸📸📸🫰
Does Godox SK 400 II or SK 400 II V works with my camera Nikon D3400?
looks good!!
This is amazing… if it compatible with other brands also?
Haven’t tried yet! 🙏
I like the images with the bounce card so will be using that the most I think 👍 Thank you for concise content!
Will this work with the Ad300 Pro?
Can u suggest a basic stand to mount the Flash.
Look for stands from SIMPEX. They are sturdy and cost effective. 👍
can i still create pro level images with this in 2024? what about in 2025?
It's not CT sir it's CTO means color temperature orange
Hi,
What is the adaptor used between ad200pro and Ak-R1 Kit. Please let me know
Need a review of the *Godox Ak R21* unit as well!

I found the dome to be pretty useless, softens the light? Yes, that softening is useful? No. We do need a larger dome like magmod to be useful
Bounce card, be falling off the camera. Have to make sure it stays on 4 real
THE BOUNCE CARD MADE IT EVEN WORSE. DID YOU NOTICE?
