I don’t get how they thought changing a classic story would be the way to make money? Making a live action version of a cartoon should be easy. Turning Disney princesses into girlbosses is known to not be the best way to impress the audience, why do they keep doing it?

I believe it has over 2 million dislikes, and they will not show that counter any longer, but people on social media have published it with programs that can show the thumbs down feature. Ziegler had a new movie called Y2K which debuted last weekend in over 2400 theaters across the country and brought in sales of only 2.1 million dollars on a 15-million-dollar budget. If that is any indication of what is in store for Disney, they better take the tax right off and forget this film. Rumors say Disney has spent 300-400 million to make this movie. There is no way logically they are going to make a profit on this film.

The second half of the trailer - with the forest and the dwarves - gives the impression that a real (although badly dressed) person got copypasted into a generic fantasy videogame cutscene.
Since I've never seen any of the live action movies this one will be another I didn't see. I, my and children. I mean my grown adult children own the animation. I and my wife grew up in the sixties and boy Disney was great and everywhere. Now not so much sad.
