The deep gritty love that can only grow from those dark places life sometimes has to take us through is when you really get to see yourself + the true meaning of love you’re holding for this other human being. Sometimes it’s messy + intense, but its also so beautiful that you realize love is just a word that doesn’t even begin to embody the meaning of what you feel for them. Being there with him was amazing, but I’m just lucky I get to be the one who wakes up next to him + those gorgeous blue eyes for the rest of our lives.
