If you're an incoming community college student, or maybe you're a current student just needing a boost, hopefully this video will be helpful to you! Leave me a comment with some of your study tips, because I'll definitely need to learn some new ones as I transition to UC Berkeley! XO Katie
Thanks for making this video! This really helped me become motivated for my upcoming summer semester. I failed an entire semester and now I am trying to redeem myself and raise my GPA before I receive my AA next. year. I was worried about if I would even be accepted into a university because of this but now I will definitely be focusing on the classes ill be taking and using some of these tips moving forward :)
I’m so glad you found it helpful!! Good luck on finishing your AA, and if you need help with transfer applications, come find me at Accepted Consulting!
It's usually determined by individual professors for the class, I've had some profs that don't offer any extra credit at all, so I'm surprised you never had any! It's definitely a plus when you need some extra points
Thank you so much! These are the things that I learned during my time at my CC, so hopefully passing along the knowledge will help someone else. Also thanks for the compliment, I love my bookshelves!
@@kman7681 That's fantastic!! I wish you the best of luck. Have you heard of the Starting Point Mentorship? I highly recommend it depending on where you are in your transfer journey! Also, feel free to shoot me an email if you have any questions about transferring to Cal, i'm more than happy to help out!
I love it actually! Its great for taking notes, I used to have multiple notebooks/binders and now I just have the ipad! I also love that you can import PDFs into the app where I take my notes so I can highlight/annotate, especially since coming to Cal, most of my profs teach off of article PDFs. I also use it to make thumbnails and graphics for my videos which is awesome. I think I've definitely gotten my money's worth

I wish I know about extra credit during the time I was attending community college.

*Awesome. KEEP IT GOING.*
Thanks! Will do!
I'm feeling good for everything but calculus. I wish uc berkeley economics didn't require calc 2 🙃
dude RIP there's a reason i'm in the social sciences and not STEM. Are you in CC or are you at Cal now?
@@TheVintageAcademic community college but I'm really hoping to transfer to cal 😁

Hey there! I totally forgot to ask you how are you enjoying your iPad Pro? I'm not sure about it yet.

iPad Pro + Apple Pencil > Laptop, if you're not going to take classes that require specific software like virtualizers for CS
@@hirenpatel6246 that's great advice, thank you!
