The hunters are given these incredible powers, and survivors have to win through their powers and coordination with their team. Which survivor you play actually matters in Identity V when in Dead By Daylight, you can play any character and pretty much get the same result. Which is the reason why there are so many Claudette mains... Its just because she’s hard to see. A common misconception I see with players of Identity V is they think the game is supposed to be “scary”. I think NetEase realizes that the scary factor of Dead By Daylight dies after you play against the same killer too many times. So they tried to make it a team game rather than another horror one. Both Identity V and Dead By Daylight have 3 month long seasons Every season: Identity V releases 1 new map, 2 new survivors, and 1 new hunter Dead By Daylight releases 1 new map, 1 new survivor, and 1 new killer, along with 3 new survivor perks that can be used on any survivor, and 3 new killer perks.
