Is this white pine or southern yellow pine? What about checking or twists, assuming this is green wood. Is the wood kiln dried or green when installed?

Looked like laminated wood to me. Not traditional timber. I could be wrong. So itwould be engineered to not do any of that.

It's Eastern White Pine. There are glulam beams used in the main floor system to eliminate posts on the first floor.
