Monster Patrol has become my favorite truck recently. I fell it was the best example of an underdog. In the 90’s, it was consistently beat by Bigfoot, Bear Foot, and Grave Digger. Every time Monster Patrol beat one of those names, my respect for it grew. Reminds me of the early years of Grave Digger. Too bad Monster Jam disrespected Paul’s franchise. They had their reasons, but I’d have loved to see his his fleet have the legacy of Grave Digger or Maximum Destruction.
With the TV exposure waining by the 2000s, it lost what it once had…..publicity. The truck, alongside the others on the Shafer team, remained very dominant in the low profile USHRA sanctioned shows.
I get your point, but it would have still been nice to see Shafer trucks on Monster Jam. I know things like the Jamboree Nationals were televised a few times, but it's not the same.@@AustinStre985

The only time I saw monster patrol live was in Kansas city kemper arena late 90s and it was blue. I didn't know it was regularly green until a year or two afterwards
