Hi guys! I've always wanted to cover this lich. I learned about him in Salvatore books long long ago and since then was curious about his story. Finally, I made it! His story is quite short, yet I liked how he conquered the bloodstone lands with ease and that he was also capable of raising dracoliches. What is your favourite part of the story?
I have been playing characters for 12YEARS that were involved in the Bloodstone Wars, the Cormyr goblin wars, the Phaerim wars of Evereska, the Demonfey wars and the Orc wars in the Silver marches, they have formed a powerful mercenary band and city state, they are called the 4 Lords, i had alot of fun with them in those campaigns and moved through lvls quickly, great times
Always nice to stumble across someone else who remembers Zhengyi the Witch King and the saga of the Bloodstone Lands (Remember those 100th-level characters in H4)

Great video on one of my fav liches. I love how he raised Castle Perilous from nothing in a single day. Please do more liches - Ascerak, Vecna, Vlaakith, Larloch, Szass Tam
I've always been curious how a Lich "keeps it together" so to speak. When a human first transforms into a Lich does decay start immediately like in any other corpse? Do liches try to preserve their flesh, say injecting and bathing in preservative fluids? Wrapping their flesh like a mummy? Or do they just let it all slough off over the course of weeks and monthes making a stinking mess all over their castle? I dont know why but I am just really curious about this. Lol 🤷♂️😄
Hahaha, never thought of that, but good point, they never tell us about tricky parts of transition! From all of the descriptions of liches they usually stop caring about their looks. But, maybe, it happens after countless 'spare the dying' applications onto self, lol. If I would be a lich, I'd definitely used a prestigiditation cantrip, from lich 5e template, to remove a stinky smell😄
Ghouls, Vampires, Wights, etc all seem to maintain their "fleshyness" by some sort of unlife that works like a mockery of life. Liches dont seem to have this.

I usually try to find good art that matches the story. But there were no official or fan art on him, so I used whatever was fitting best from my perspective.
