Important to note, when he says gonads, don't just think of your ballsack. The TESTES drain to the para-aortic nodes, but the SCROTUM drains to the superficial inguinal.
always found it helpful to think of skin draining to skin. scrotum is like a catchers-mitt of skin. superficial inguinal is much more "skin sounding" idk it works
Could you make a second (or updated) video about GU drainage? since it's convoluted and there's many exceptions (ie. deep inguinal nodes --> clitoris and glans, vagina can be divided into thirds, cervix could go to ext. or int. inguinal LNs) it's heavily tested and this video doesn't really cover the GU system in the amount of detail needed. But I still love you DM
What I recall is that the testis drain into the paraaortic lymphnodes because embryologically they started in the stomach and had to descend down later. So their lymph drainage would be from where they came from
Wow, your videos are amazing. I literally watched this video right before I did a block of qbank questions. Can you believe I answered one question correctly only because I watched this video right before? The question was literally asking about the popliteal fossa and where did an infection have to originate from for the lymph to drain up to the popliteal fossa... THANK YOU! Keep doing what you're doing!
Umm, good video, but u missed a few things:1. Glans penis drains --> deep inguinal2. Prostate drains --> internal iliac3. Cervix drains --> internal iliac4. Body of uterus drains --> internal iliac
Thank you so much for your videos!! Is incredible that all of the doubts I was having about certain subjects you made a video of it! You reaaly are being a little angel right now! Thank you!

I think of where the testis start during embryogenesis (in the abdomen near the aorta).
