I stopped playing Darktide for a while now (my machine spirit died/ the pc fallen and could'n get up) How can you continue making charged shot with your staff when the peril of the warp is at 100% but you dont implode like a metal pinneapple ? I know you use mod, but i dont think it's them that give you this power, was there a rework on the soyker ? (Soy spyker, because funny name)
@cristodemonte1690 well actually Fatshark added new talents for the psyker and that is one of them it is called warp unbound which prevents you implode while the effect of Scrier's Gaze is lingering which is about 10sec
I'm pretty sure you use just about the same build as me. Warp Unbound with Nexus and Surge turns Voidstrike into a Warp Nuke. The only difference is I take Smite for Psykinetic Aura so I can spam more warp nukes at 100% Peril. Great gameplay. @@NotLukeYT
I wouden't say lame, more like "empty" or "hollow" but those mod for this typ of game. Just powergaming, no background to character in fact no character at all. Just high damage and quick movment. And it's no offense, we just play two difrent style. Anyway impresive game Luke. (Sorry for bad ang)
Its not only makes look true solo much less impressive, pretty sure some of the mods are bannable offense according to Fatshark rules. You cant use mods that give you in-game advantage over other players. Example here would be area indication for DH and barrels. And that weird tracker for specials. Same for health bars above elites heads. Though not sure what they stand is when you use those mods playing solo. But Fatshark doesnt give a damn. Seen so many players lately that have otherwise reflections of roadside kill that solve console puzzles instantly.
@jhr891 ok first, if any of these mods can cause a ban it was never really pointed out by the modding community and since they've been here for awhile it doesn't seem the case and now talking about the spidey sense mod this mod is essential since there's a chance sound cues will not work(which has been a bug for over a year according to my friends) and healthbars is useful to know the higher priority enemies' health. As for the console players by which i was one 2 months ago, there's nothing we can do about it since Fatshark doesn't seem to care too much about their game. Now imagine if Fatshark implemented some of these mods in a real Quality of Life update where you have the option to use them or not would make things fair for everyone but we all know the won't do that.
You play a game about killing worm infested Nurgle-Heretics, you fight Scabs, Dregs - hell you go against the Moebian 6th while having the option to chose whatever class and origin/background in FPS that incorporates RPG elements... ...And you want to nag about the voice actor under a video of someone soloing a level? Seriously? How miserable are you?
