I went there today, it’s still scary as sh even though the actors were wearing face masks and most of it was visual effects. The Jack the Ripper part scared me the most as it was a visual effect but the lights kept flashing and you could really see it.

I have to say, only go into the toilets if you re absolutely dying to go!!! The sound effects carry on into them (although I'm not sure about the disabled ones) as well as the low lighting. The doors creak horribly and there are paintings on each of them making it look like a prison cell.
Maybe to hurry you up...but still!

FiFi love heart HUH?? I went to London bridge experience just this week with my sister and I found it boring, not scary at all. it was small group of us we had no running away from zombies or nothing, we had one guy with chainsaw but meh... he didn't really do anything. this must add and remove stuff like that everyday. I found London dungeon when it was one tooley street hell a lot more scary and brilliant.

***** he was a killer in the Victorian times in London also it isn't very scary if you think about it afterwards but when you're there it will be a lot scarier. there is a boat ride at the start and i thought there would be lots of jump scares but there wasn't!! :)

Was there a couple of years ago, it was my 3rd. time in total.
Was again picked by the judge and again accused of "messing around" with a goat.
As it was my 2nd. time i was prepared and pleaded not guilty because the witness could not be trusted for it wasn't a goat but a sheep 😊
Even the "judge" fell out of his role and had a good laugh.
I was very impressed how they did the witch burning, clearly remember the smell of burnt flesh in the air.
Did some research on this and found out that there's a company specialized on producing such smells like puke, rotten/burnt flesh etc.
    Really impressive!

I was picked by the judge at the Amsterdam dungeon for witchcraft, I was seen dancing naked in front of a church! So naturally, when the judge asked if I was guilty, I asked if he wanted a demonstration and sensually started to remove my jacket. 😘 He quickly said no and told me I was insane, but damn he had a hard time to keep being serious after that. 😛

I was picked by the judge too. He asked if I was guilty or not guilty for running naked through the streets of London. I said 'Unfortunately, I'm not guilty Your Honour, and I mean unfortunately because that sounds like so much fun' 😂 he slammed his wooden stick and started laughing. He found me guilty anyway and I asked if he wouldn't mind joining me in prison as I have a thing for powerful men 😂 he couldn't keep a straight face.

Hmmm strange, seems like this is an older version of the Dungeons... I was in the London Dungeons last wednesday, but it was located in the London Eye area. It was not really like a dark ride or anything, more like a horror themed attraction where you went from room to room where an actor was talking and talking. Not really scary, just fun and with a spooky theme. I was a bit dissappointed... I wanted it to be more like Slenderman, instead of a guided tour through the history of executions. However the toilets were pretty fun themed! If you ever go to the London Dungeons, and you go past a toilet, go inside! You'll hear a voice saying "I can see you hahahaha!" and the door makes a lot of noise when you open and close it xD That was quite fun

I've been to the London dungeons and would wholly recommend it. The actors are fantastic and the experience is second to none. Of all the London attractions, this is one of the few I would happily visit again and again.
This video, though giving a reasonable representation of the experience, does not do the visit justice - the segments are more intimate than presented here and there's no real background noise from other visitors.
No, I don't work for the dungeons, I'm just a very happy customer.

Went to the new one near London Eye. Very similar, except I'm reading comments that some people got chased! They weren't allowed to touch us. But Marge did stare right at me before Sweeney Todd and told me we could get 'a clean shave'. Scared me because she was a bit over the top. Anyway, great experience.

Very disappointed to watch this. Not half as good as it was years ago. Where was the sweeney todd experience ?
And the jump back to bloody mary, from jack the ripper, then back to newgate jail hangings, makes no sense.
The organisers really need to get a better time line in place and not just put a filler section in.

I would have enjoyed it more if they didn't cram so many people into each session. Everyone was fighting to get to the front for each scene/room it was really annoying and ruined the experience for me. I enjoyed it more at it's old location, back when I wen around 6-7 years ago and I dont remember our session being over crowded like my recent experience.

LaurenzoPanda My boyfriend and I went to the one in Edinburgh recently and we were 2 of 8 people on the tour- it meant everyone had a chance to be picked out for something and was good fun. Really the cut off the the number of people for each group at around 15 so everyone has a good experience :)

I was there in december last year, its amazing if you like history and its very well made. The actors acts really good. I must say though that you should give it a second thought if you dont like big crowds, small areas and darkness.

It's not really scary. It's educational and more than a little disturbing, the "St. Anthony's Fire" (Erysipelas and/or ergotism) exhibit creeped me out a bit in 1989.

On a trip to the UK when I was about 7, me and my big brother pleaded with our parents to take us here (we were both obsessed with the Horrible Histories show/books at the time). Lasted about 2 minutes before I broke down in tears. My dad had to negotiate for a refund for us and I’ve never been back since😂 I’m in London again now. Maybe I’ll handle it better now I’m in my 20s lol

When I went (either 2019 or 2020 before the covid) they had Sweeney Todd in the London dungeons. When we entered mrs lovetts pie shop I said out loud “holy shit this is Sweeney Todd” and mrs Lovett heard me so she brought me up to the front door of Sweeney’s room where he shaves and he brought me in and gave me a shave 🤣🤣. He handed me a board with paper on it saying “don’t panic I’m going to slash you with my blade and then I’ll bring you into the next room when the lights go off” so he did and he brought me Into the other room. He was very nice even though he looked terrifying🤣🤣. Honestly one of the best experiences ever

I just went here this week, its was so scary! because of the dark and the unexpected things. I even fell of the chair when Jack the ripper showed up exactly in front of me and he even pointed his knife towards me!! :( but totally worth it! I'm gonna come here again next time to see what new.

There used to be a place near here, called Tric Trap, or something like that. I remember once on a school trip when one of the people ran out and started screaming at us and being scared of a puddle. It was so weird and spooky!

I went there on 1 August 2016. It was extremely busy with long long queues and waits for EVERYTHING, so if you hate crowds & crowds of people both in & out do NOT go in school holidays.
The "restaurant" - McDonalds close by - was full to brimming hot & stuffy. Yuk.
The Dungeons probably 'scared' some children but everything featured (i.e. Sweeney Todd/The Ripper is based on fact and in each segment you have an actor relating the story/facts and getting the public to interact etc.
Quite Good - took about 1 hour to get in & out. Cost about £22 each - everything in London costs over £20 p.person these days.
It is situated on the South Bank between Waterloo & Westminster Bridge close to the London Eye.

No, these days you're rushed through the attraction in small groups - spending approx. 5 mins in each area. There's not much in the way of signs and figures, just the live acting with Hollywood-style special effects.

Than I went to nandos and I had a table by the window over looking the river Thames it was a good day

I'm 11 and I personally think everyone should enjoy this experience. At first I was pretty nervous. I get scared easily. But I was happy to find out it wasn't even that scary at all. People would jump out at you but that's only if you plan on being the first in line in your group. In my opinion the scariest part was when they talked about Jack the Ripper. Overall it was awesome.
