Your work ethic and attention to the little things is refreshing and motivating. You’re like a modern day Jesse James. Upper echelon of skilled craftsmen. Keep killing it 🤘🏼
You are not a fabricator, you are an artist who happens to fabricate. Crazy to think that even with all the skill and knowledge you have, there is still more you want to learn. Sheet metal forming is definitely a lost art. I made a bowl from a flat piece of aluminum at the Fab School and was definitely a great experience learning how to do it.
Thank you! For 20 years, I have had an offroad and a road car bouncing around in my head. I have no fab skills, just some engineering basics. I'm 48 years old, but I'm going to take some welding and drafting classes. Just so I'm ready to build when I retire. Thanks for the motivation!
I admire your ability to bring life to a piece of metal. I see consistently throughout your builds flow and function. Precision CNC is cool but nothing beats hand formed and tweaked to perfection.
Thank you! There’s a time & place for CNC work. A careful balance would be the optimal idea. Too many people these days see shiny & can’t get past it. #monkeylikeshiny
So much inuendo haha. Man these videos are the best explanation of prerunner logic. Seriously a part goes here because of this reason and etc. Not just throwing cute stuff on for looks.
Amazing as always. My boy said, "Dad, I'll never be at that level of welding and fabrication" No, not with that mindset, you won't...Stick with it and absorb EVERYTHING your teachers and other's tell you, without criticism.. Even other people's work that isn't, "that level". Because you learn from EVERYONE, even if their fab and welding skills aren't as "beautiful" their mind and ideas may be just as amazing. And it's ok if he never ends up being as amazing as some doing this work, he'll still have the knowledge of it and is amazing at so many other things.
That steering set up 🙌. I've got a big heart for Supercrews...of course lol. Such a rad video going into detail and showing up close video. Another Well done YT Video. Love it !
Between my fab stuff, the way I raised my son, and him getting to see greatness like Morgan's build, my son is really looking hard at the fab route too! It's an insanely frustrating but gratifying path though! Best of luck to you brother!

What helped me in beginning metal forming is making "molds" out of wood to shape the metal around. It's easy to sand into complex shapes and then just start forming the metal around it. After a couple, it becomes almost an organic process. Like it was meant to have those curves and flow.
Absolutely killing it dude, I chatted with ya at the expo looking at James truck for a bit and seeing the work on that in person was really inspiring and was just blown away by all the detail, then turning around and seeing James face just looking at it with amazement you can truly feel and see that shock factor still in his eyes. Keep plugging away at it you'll fulfill that nitch of forming metal and you'll master that too 🤘🍻

really appreciate these super detailed videos! would love to see more assembly/disassembly on some of this stuff, I think creative/intelligent/thoughtful packaging is really shown off when things get torn down and put back together.
Morgan, this stuff is incredible!!! I love every detail. On the condesor part, why not run an excursion condenser since those were built for front and rear a/c that way you dont need to make room for 2. Just a thought. Thank you for explaining all your details and super excited for fab diaries and everything else you guys do💪💪
@@MorganClarkeDesign1 yes! Really any ford truck or van from that era with front and rear ac, those big condesors will definitely work! I like your attention to detail and will definitely make me strive for perfection like you💪
Just want to piggy back off this. Having more than one evap can be achieved as long as the condenser is rated for the btu's. And you'd want to run an accumulator( I've never run vintage air so idk if that comes standard or not) so that you don't end up flooding refrigerant back to the compressor. But Morgan honestly man I love following your growth because you show how a determined person can make a living and make art. Ima forever fan
Morgan, beautiful work and video detail is great. You absolutely have the skill to form the shapes you said you are working through. English wheel learning curve is not bad at all for someone with your background. I recommend picking up a unit . You will surprise yourself
Morgan, I had a sheet metal project that required more than just bending last year. I found Wray Sheline : th-cam.com/video/cHm3-lu3e2Q/w-d-xo.html th-cam.com/video/cHm3-lu3e2Q/w-d-xo.html Through his videos , I was able to learn the skill to get my project done without expensive equipment. (I was able to borrow an English wheel). While there is still a lifetime to learn in metal shaping, i found it surprisingly predictable having a decent knowledge of fabrication in general. Aaron
You got crazy work ethic bud, won’t be to awful long and you’ll have James truck and this one done. It’s gotta feel good to be wrapping these projects up.
Love the fact that your work and skills in metal art are amazing yet you are so humble about and you continue to push your self to grow in areas your not confident it.
Literally each part of this video made me want to make a comment! So to keep it short... Thank You! I love the detail in this video and you should do way more like this! Granted you gotta stay focused on burning metal to make money, but I love this style video! It was also good to see you get handed a build that the previous work was also done by a design focused fabricator! You did a great job building off of his design flow and melding it with your own! Great work Morgan!
After talking to him at the Off-Road Expo this year, that's definitely true. He really shouldn't be so hard on himself, especially with of the bs comments I heard from nobody's, but that it what makes him the way he is! He really is one of the best fabricators and overall designers I've ever seen.
