They became able to think about friends, family and youth as something precious ; then they think that life became more meaningful.
They're saying that finding clannad in itself makes them able to say they're glad to be alive.

I had watched it about 4 or so years ago, and just recently I had rewatched the alternate endings with Tomoyo and Kyou. Still one of the most beautiful animes I've seen. Violet Evergarden is a good anime as well, I highly recommend it!

It's been years since i last watched Clannad and I'm watching it again. It felt like i watched it all over again and sure made me cry for a long time. It's the very first anime that ever made me cry as a kid.
This anime changed my life so much.
Same there is something specific about this anime which makes it so good.
you should read the vn, there are so many awesome stories which werent really used in the anime. Kyou and Tomoyo routes are really well done on the vn

Another piece of great work my friend! I made the mistake of watching Clannad and Clannad: After Story about 2 months after my fiancee and unborn daughter where taken by a drunk driver. That was March 2013. To this day I can't hear Dango without going into full waterworks mode. The music will forever tear my heart out. Though it worked me over- thank you for the music!

Only just started watching anime as a whole this year with quarantine, and let me tell you, Clannad filled a hole in my soul I didn’t know I had. If you’re seeing this and haven’t watched the whole show yet, do yourself a favor and do so. Probably one of the best things I’ve watched ever.
I feel like this soundtracks will be forever stamped in my head, when I heard it I instantly got goosebumps. One of the very few shows, that changed my life. I will definitely sing Dango Daikazoku to my kids, such a beautiful song.

I watched Clannad and Clannad After Story with my wife when she was pregnant with our first son. My wife has the same sweet, innocent demeanour of Nagisa and also happens to fall ill a lot. Throughout the entire time, I kept drawing parallels between the two. Needless to say, episode 16 of After Story hit like a tonne of bricks.
I heard this legendary tribute randomly while holding my second child in my arms, and all of the emotions came gushing back. Excellent playing mate, words cannot fully describe it.

まだ高校生の分際で人生が変わったとか、安っぽく聞こえてしまうかもしれませんが、それでも僕はこれからの自分の人生が変わったと確信しています。

Here come the tears again, clannad is one of my favorite animes and is also one of the ones to make me cry so hard and much. Listening to this really meant alot to me. Just now hit me that I cant watch Clannad for the first time anymore:(

CLANNAD is forever.
This always hits so hard, my eyes get blurry and memories that aren't even my own swamp my head. Clannad was truly amazing and did so much for so many- It touched most of us here in at least some way. It made us feel fuzzy and warm to follow all the characters through high school, see them interact, become friends, joke and laugh, even fight. It made us sad and cold when all the tragedy started to hit, Nagisa then Ushio, the characters dealing with change in general, but we all followed it through and overall it made itself an unforgettable journey that I know I'll always hold close.

The journey Clannad After Story puts your through is life-changing, and a big reason for that is its absolutely stellar soundtrack that always seamlessly fits the mood of the scene. It's why a lot of the infamous emotional moments hit so hard and are always remembered so fondly. Your cover of these songs from this beautiful anime really does them justice, my dude. Amazing stuff!

I have been very tired recently. I saw this notification and closed my eyes and meditated with this playing. Though I've never seen/played Clannad entirely the songs have stuck with me for years. But you've done something super special here. This is my favourite performance from you. Possibly surpasses the originals for me. Your music here just warmed me and took my tiredness away. Absorbed in another world.
But I'm not going to keep it on repeat: it's too good. I'm saving this for when I need it most. Thanks a lot.

While I'm trying to learn the guitar myself and watch videos like these to give me motivation to practice, I started to appreciate more and more the beauty of the guitar and the fact that it can be used to share so much emotion. I cried at the train scene where tomoya remembers about nagisa.
That moment when he realizes he is crying and Ushio looking at him. Ah shit man I'm getting the feels again.
