Hello, it's similar to RODE VideoMic Me. It's just plug and play thing I believe.
Sir I confused to purchase between Rode VideoMicro,,Rode Videomic go and Boya BM3031. Currently I am having Boya By Mm1 which is alternate of Rode VideoMicro but I have to be loud in low level and if i level high it captures background sound and my natural voice is low and without base I guess so based on all these factors can u plz suggest me which one should i go for
Apoorv Joshi Hey! I have BOYA MM1, it’s a good mic to start with but if you want to boost the level Rode Video Mic Pro (not Pro plus) is something you can consider. It has +20dbs option that can help you with it.
Also, it also depends upon the distance you keep from the mic, if you’re using shotgun mics the distance shouldn’t be more than 2 feet to get the finest results. If you’re sitting far from the camera you should consider LAV/Collar mic to avoid background noice and the audio will be clear as well.

Muhammad Shoaib Bluetooth mics are not reliable. I’d rather recommend Airpods if you’re an iPhone user and it’s in your budget. Otherwise use BOYA M-1 it’s a collar mic and it works perfectly.
As far as camera is concerned, it totally depends upon your budget.

Okay so first of all one need to understand the difference of recorder and microphone. Recorder is something that can store your audio and microphone is a hardware that provides input to the recorder (could be phone, camera or separate recorder).

@@KahnSaab Whats the main reason that u picked videomic go instead of videomicro as videomicro is metal built while video micgo has plastic plus I have heard that in windy condition VideoMicro performs better than micgo
It’s named Shotgun for a reason. Longer the nozel longer the range (that’s my understanding). Plus the windy situation is subjected to the Deadcat filter. Micro comes with the filter and for Go you have to buy it.

Haha thank you for the feedback. However; I have used this mic personally and it was good to go among all available in the same category. And I have clearly mentioned that I personally prefer RODE mics cause they make the finest. Also, there are copies and it might have issues of course.
