For those of you that have not heard this in game is because the game plays the music according to the action occurring on screen. If you trow everything you have at the same time at the enemy this song will have the most action filled version playing.
I played British for the first time with a friend. I was usually at the scary end of a creeping barrage, playing as Germans. Finally, unleashing all that power on the enamy base.. I almost cried at the horrifying, yet mesmerizing power.
I love these themes! I usually get like 4 25 pounders and 3 preists with supercherged rounds and start obliterating the area before my tanks and infantry roll in.
The Aussies DID ambush and kill roughly 500 Japanese soldiers during their invasion of the Malaysian Peninsula, and eventually Singapore(Still the most humiliating defeat in British military history). This was one of the few(and limited) victories, won by the British/Commonwealth forces during that campaign. I have nothing against the Brits, but just highlighting Aussie wartime achievements.
I once played a multiplayer 2v2 game where i built 3 x 25 pounders - saved up 450 munitions, then unleashed 3 creeping barrages simultaneously on the enemy base, followed by captain's victor target, followed by 3 supercharge barrages. It was beautiful :D
i remember when germany took most the map when i played the brits, they had their armor spam stuck at the land bridge to my base. So i made 4-5 fireflies, destroyed their stuck armor spam, then hulled them down at the other side of the bridge. The german armor never touched my base after that

You´re right on that, the brits really lack proper offense tools. Actually, my take on the available factions goes a bit like this: Americans: Pretty balanced, but don´t excel at anything in particular - rely on a good combo between infantry, armor and support weapons to blast away the opposition. Werhmacht: Can be pretty weak at a starting stage but makes up for it (if u can survive that long) by having some of the best advanced armor in the game to obliterate the competish. (...)
In that case, I'm gonna go kamikaze in a moment. Love this tune. Especially the part starting at 0:35. It plays during the loading screens in skirmish sometimes. Unfortunately, I load too fast to hear much of it:)
nah.. all the songs i got had 2 versions. the in game one and some epic version. I have no idea why the didn't use em in the game cause they sound much better

Micromanagement is a painful "must" but proper use of it will give you a more than decent fighting chance and a nasty surprise for overconfident enemies. British - CAMPERS 4 LIFE - Rely on making the enemy waste away his units by make them go against their (almost OP) static defenses and then counter-attacking swiflty or fortifying slow and steady across the map until the enemy is shut into his base and runs out of juice XP
God I love the british playstyle. Set your masses infantrymen in a trench, pin down the fow with machine gun nests, and lay the hammer of artillery down upon them while anti tank guns poke holes in their tanks.
The british soundtrack is way better than the american one. It's one of the main reasons I play british (besides the facts that this way I can call in mobile arty, build Bofors and 17 pounder emplacements, pretty much f@&king up the day of any opponent)
@Reaper7000 Well, not a lot of infantry and tanks. Like 2 squads with lieutanants and a cromwell. And I might have had 3 or 4 25 pounders. I really rely on the arty to decimate the area. The cromwell and infantry squads are to mop up any remaining force. If it proves to be a major threat, I bombard it.
that is the exact reason why i hate the brits, creeping barraging the enemy base... it just feels wrong, you take away the guy his chance to fight back, on a not really gentle way.

armor wise, Fireflys are inferior to normal PZIV tanks, the main reason to use Fireflys is their stupidly powerful cannon.

My god this song is the most epic of all... I kinda remember the Pounder Screaming while Jerries are running in scare of the bomb shells.
Feels like a very British way of doing things: slow to act, but absolutely no messing about when they do.
Yeah, that's why I love the Brits, early game they are somehow slow, but as teching up goes they become more and more brutal.
