I have 3 casios, one citizen, 2 hmts, 2 Armanis, 2 Swatch, 1 Sonata, 1 fossil, 2 timex and not a single Titan. Never found them value for money for their brand name.
U got swatch that's cool . Personally I think fossil can be value for money after discounts . Especially their defender series(solar watch ) was selling for 4800 so depends on model and offers . Fossil owns zodiac group and they make nyc watches with horology . Fossil is like 50-50 when it's comes to value for money .

How do you gauge build quality? Went to a showroom recently that had 30% off on all watches. Chose a Titan edge, edifice and a Enticer. Edifice and Enticer looked basically the same. Enticer in fact looked a little better, was priced at 8k. Edifice was 12k. But finally went for Titan Edge that was 10k and had Saphhire Crystal glass. Cannot make out which one was better built.
Personally i loved the bigger dials, but after getting to know more about watches, just started to appreciate the smaller dials. Par i feel mere mote haath me bigger dials match more :)
I have to try really hard to find few good titan pieces it's a lot of scrolling and searching the same design repetitive then maybe I could find one design then again as you said dials are so big its very difficult to find watches in 38mm or 40mm. So for now i use only Casio and HMT.

I bought TITAN Ceramic Black in Reliance for 22,000 whose MRP and General Selling Price is 28,000. Worth it! The Ceramic material and sapphire glass are pretty much safe from any wear and tear.

I bought a fastrack recently the model number is stunner 6.0 with green texture dial with tan leather strap, it is stunning watch the texture dial with sunburst dial is eye feast to watch, have a look bro the dial size also perfect for average wrist size. The strap is not so good so i replaced it with black croco leather strap and it pairs perfect with the dial and its decent dress watch for both parties and formal
Was a fan of Titan automatic skeleton watch but when I saw that in person, I gave up, went and bought Seiko field watch. Didn't buy Titan because the design is too catchy and the quality was showy didn't get the reliable feeling.
I've been wearing titan quartz for nearly 11yrs, its working fine, with ORIGINAL CELL. Titan makes good, reliable watches...though their mechanical watches are bit overpriced. Best ones are sonata super fibre series very rough & tough & pretty reliable.

If Titan is using zirconia ceramic ( titan squircle ) which is used in premium brands, toh 30k+ price hoga hi na. Xylys is also a very good line up. None of which points to quality or construction.

They have watch for all types of budget and and various types of design. You should at least visit the world of Titan in your city. Casio is my another favourite brand. On the other hand even Casio has larger dials and Casio watches and much heavier than titan watches. Hence before making any content for the product from India think twice what word you are using...
