- Lyn Alden is a full-time investor and independent financial analyst. She has been performing investment research for over fifteen years in various public and private capacities, and founded Lyn Alden Investment Strategy in 2016. Her goal is to provide institutional-level research in plain English, so that both institutional investors and retail investors can benefit from it.
Her work has been editorially featured or cited on the Wall Street Journal, Business Insider, Marketwatch, Time’s Money Magazine, The Daily Telegraph, The Philadelphia Inquirer, The Street, CNBC, US News and World Report, Kiplinger, the Asia Times, the Huffington Post, and other media. She has appeared on Kitco, Real Vision, The Investor’s Podcast Network, The Rebel Capitalist Show, Macro Voices, The Market Huddle, What Bitcoin Did, and many other shows and podcasts. She has also served as an advisor or consultant for start-up companies, hedge funds, and executive committees of large institutions.

She analyzes advanced topics for institutional investors, and also breaks many of those topics down for retail investors to keep track of what’s happening in terms of global macro.

This has been the absolute best interview I have seen of Lyn. I always thought she had such a unique understanding of everyday average Americans that no other analysts would mention or incorporate and now I know why, because she's lived in their shoes. Good job Natalie!

What's is fascinating about Natalie is how personal she can make her interviews. I must have watched dozens of Lyn's interviews, but this one was by far the most revealing and interesting. Congrats Natalie.
Not need to be self-conscious, Lyn. You have a clear, articulate, fluent and authoritative tone and what comes out of your mouth is pure knowledge. I'd take your voice, determination, good manners, empathy, discipline and respect for others, in a heart beat. Winning combination, I reckon.

Wow such a great conversation to listen to. It made me emotional hearing about Lyn’s past involving homelessness because I have been there, and it’s really painful. Lyn made insightful point about letting your “winners” run rather than selling all of a winning position (her early career examples were Adobe & Microsoft). Its okay to take some chips off the table while remembering that the trend is your friend. Love to listen to Lyn & Natalie chat about money!

What no one ever mentions is that when we sell Bitcoin at between 800 K to 2 million however many years down the road, the currencies would have debased so much that the profit we get would not have much purchasing power, would you address this please

Over time! You have very short memory, 10 years the age of bitcoin.
22:50 cuz some of us know the stock market is propped up/subsidized. and cuz some of us dont understand how theres room for everybody to invest? so if 250 million people decided to invest in whatever, where would the returns come from? how are there enough slices of pie to: feed the company and feed the stockholders? capitalists have made their own money/economic system in the form of stocks, and they can issue however much they want and designate it common stock or preferred stock. how are stocks different from fiat currency? lets take away the corporate/military handouts and see how the market performs. no more bailouts. no more bail ins.

I like her news letter I just signed up for, thank you:) I can see I have a lot to learn from her. Fascinating. I brought my sister into Bitcoin world, and am working on my other sister. We definitely need more women in Bitcoin. My brother is a harder case and will take some time to 'turn'. lol He likes the stock market and fiat. So be it. I don't want to begrudge anyone for their choices. It's difficult for me to stay neutral, yet advantageous over long term I think, so I try to be objective, but Lyn seems to have mastered that skill. I admire that. I need to get better at that. It's like she is super dooper analytical. wow.
